The one thing I like about Vaan is that he stands up for Larsa and his need for privacy.

I understand that Balthier is merely suspicious, but Vaan realizes that whoever "Lamont" may be is really none of their business and doesn't need to be a concern of theirs.

What a bullshit statement. Peoples' liking towards each Final Fantasy game is solely dependant on what they want out of it.

Though this is more country against country rather than the actual characters, certain individuals may find that appealing and therefore deem FFXII their favourite.

This one may be more war orientated, but it doesn't discount it as a good game among the series.

I am a huge Square Soft fan not just a FF fan and have been since the NES days. I disagree with everyone in regards to a thin story. I thought this game balanced out very well. Everyone compares every FF story to 6 or 7. NEWS FLASH 7's story was a master piece and will not be equaled anytime soon. This game gets a 10 for voice acting, 8.5 for score, 9 for game play and 8 for story and 7 for replay and a 10 for graphics. BTW 6 was the closest thing to a Star Wars rip off but was still great.
