  • WTF - why are you shaming Force Recon? This is no Force workout and @baked4211 Recon was not around during Korea. Back in the day we did it, we did it no matter what, we did it hung over and, no matter what, we just looked down and did it. These modern wannabe's are outright idiots. Maybe you can tell us how Crossfit or some other crap will make you a Marine or, better yet, a Force Recon Marine.

  • wouldn't want to fuck with these dudes, i know my grampa was in the recon marines in korea, hes 80 im 16 and he kicks my ass every time i see him

  • your not a marine are you?

  • Lol he does look like a red -headed Abraham Lincoln.

  • are you force recon or just doin the workout

  • PANTERA! WALK!

  • hey im enlisting in the marines all i really need to do is wait a response from meps

im thinking on going for tank crewman yet my dream since i was little was to be a recon marine would my mos allow me a shot to try out for recon?

  • @xSwaggaxVersace if you want to be a recon marine (0321-0323-0324-0326) why be a tanker? why not start off on the right foot as an 0311? To answer your question, you MUST be in the Infantry Oc-field to take the indoc and attend BRC. Don't be a POG

  • It's best went you don't take breaks & move to each session, and stay w/ reps. as said 5 or 7 if weigh load is a problem. Be safe about if first try-time, of course correct lifting procedure is a MUST.

  • i always wanted to be a soldier but øhm this training looks hard

  • @Osclala Marines are not soldiers...

  • @Osclala Recon Marine training is going to be a lot harder than a regular Marine/soldier.

  • hard to watch i kept thinking you were going to hurt yourself

  • beast

  • i dont think they let gingers in the military

  • @jeenyus720 hes a daywalker not a full blown ginger get ur facts straight lmao

  • Where's me pot o gold Rusty?

  • fuck yes pantera

  • @Cuddleskillsuall Hell yeah!..and I just happened to be wearing my Pantera shirt when I clicked on this ahaha

  • I can only do a handful of pull ups with no added weight!

  • every set is waaaaaaaaaaaay too short.

you won't gain anything this way.

  • @Kolashov intensity over duration

  • piece of cake

  • 2:04

    On his left peck, Freemason?

  • Bro fuck a life preserver, & a 30 min test... if thats where your thought process is located you truly truly, aren't even close to the concept, & need 2 wake up soon! I on the other hand having 1st hand Infantry exp can tell you that in boot camp, & fleet USMC qualifies their PFT with a 3 mile run, when you run in the fleet you rarely run 3 miles try 5-8 on avg day in day out. I gave you a nugget of info by telling you need to be prepared to swim 4hrs NON STOP & run ten miles same day no BS!

  • Dude this workout sucks!! cut the bullshit if you want to be ready for Force Recon you need to be able to tread water a minimum of 4 hours a day with boots, cammies non-stop. Then in that same day you need to be able to go on a 15 mile pack run up, & down steep hills, once you get to that day in you quest for elitism then, and only then will you, & anyone else reading considering attempting... Be able to take the oath, & sign up for a hellish reality!

  • @ChefAnatoly if they tread water for four hours it will be with a fuckin life preserver. the test is only 30 minutes not 4 hours

  • nice form, what do you do for running and sprints?

  • A quick question my friend... are you in the USMC!!????

  • @lvrpatriot01 no he is not, read the uploader comments.

  • How long did it take you to be able to do all this

  • You are a man.

  • pantera hahahaha

  • who woulda thought that a ginger would have a highly veiwed video on youtube?!

  • Kettle bells are over rated in my opinion. I am a former special operator. It is my strong belief that any time you workout you need to reach or approach failure the majority of your sets. Being a soldier is about strength but it is also extremely important to have INSANE muscle endurance. The sooner you reach muscle exhaustion or failure in combat the sooner you invite the grim reaper.

  • You're awesome dude!

  • PANTERA+Force Recon= BADASS

  • Force recon workout. Step #1 Hang heavy weights from penis.

  • @viper8red only recon marines can hang heavy weight from they're penis lol

  • @LilMoreno703202 XD hahaha

  • He's a ginger...gross

  • @Zomb131 shut the fuck up

  • @Zomb131 you wouldnt say that to his face you pussy

  • working out is great, fuck being a marine. Glorified dirt eaters. Looking sexy is the way to go.

  • you remind me of a MMA fighter

  • Thats a good workout, the recon workout me and my boy got on was a lot more cardio, had hardly any lifting, just tons of running swimming, treading water, sit ups and pullups. I like what you just did tho, those pullups are mean

  • Nah, not a smoker. I have a paralyzed right vocal chord from a horrendous extubation back in the day.. Makes me have a sexy voice;)

  • joojoo you a smoker? haha you sound like me but i just quit! appreciate the video i am going to basic training in feb. with a recon mos

  • Where's day two man?

  • "They're always after me Lucky Charms!"

  • r u irish?

  • I did the second one. you didnt tell us a warning that it would hurt your balls! ima sue you! (lol jk)

  • it was easier on wii fit

  • @axlslash1517 hahahaha

  • nice video, the pullups looked strong, your clean and press technique was tight! and the squats looked good nice posture and depth to it. very impressive keep training man you have a strong physique

  • nice video, the pullups looked strong, your clean and press technique was tight! and the squats looked good nice posture and depth to it. very impressive keep training man you have a strong physique

  • @gibby5335 You are just jealous

  • which workout series is this? do you have a link? i do Crossfit regularly and see this is similar, but I like using the kettlebells for the clean/jerks better than bars.

  • RE SPECT!!!!!!

  • you are hot...

  • there are a lot of trolls lately on the net, and they multiply like bacteria. @joojoogymanimus Nice workout vid. by the way. keep it up.

  • you look like a leprachaun xD

  • You look like the Red headed version Of Abe Lincoln

  • @chronic00 XD JAJa

  • @chronic00 A jacked version!***

  • to be the best you must train like the best!!

  • love your choice in music man! and choice in military branch =P

  • then if your not a marine or in the military why u tellin people how to do a marine supposidly marine workout

  • @liamsutcliffe1 maybe he's trying to show civilians what recon does man. it ain't that bad. that's the freedom we fought for right? hell, I'm with tracks and they've never let us do that shit. only things we do for tracks are beach runs, stretcher runs on the viper and usual pt bullshit. hell what are you so bitter about?

  • @trebekalex i aint bin bitter i just dont see how he can call it a force recon workout wen he dunt even no what they do for a workout

  • @liamsutcliffe1 Well, he did say that it was written by a guy name Pvel Tsatsouline for Recon. So, I'm guessing, that's how he found out. It says it on the comment above ours. 12/5!

  • what is the music you listen to while making this video?

  • @mountainman28713 "Walk" by Pantera

  • how much weight is it for the pull ups i didnt see it?

and too all of you fags saying this is a pussy work out, shut up you dont know shit you have to all of these sets FIVE times! you obviously have not tried this work out

  • @goodnightChesty1775 it was four five pound weights so 20 pounds

  • lol u HAVE to be irish....

anyways...good workout demo. im actually going to walmart to buy me some weights

  • when is day 2 coming out?

  • nice you seem like a pretty cool dude, u actually understand the meaning of kettlebells, everyone it says demonstration! have you got your hkc or rkc?

  • .....lol nice work out routine.

  • Hey where did you get this workout?...is there a book? or dvd?

    PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

    Great stuff man!

  • that was pretty sick dude, keep it up!

  • not many ppl could do that snatch thing thats like 70lbs lifting over your head with 1 arm i can barely do that much over my head with both arms and im 28

  • cool dude, but you should try to do 7 reps at the 2 last sets, you'll get stronger must faster

  • u need a shave and haircut marine lol

  • you have a great set up! is that in your house?

  • im sick of people associating their weight with strenght.. being 240 pounds dosent make u strong... strenght is basically how hard you contract a muscle not how big ye are.. look at olympic weightlifters.. der small and lifting huge weights!! case and point

  • @propgoestheweasel female power lifters are the most petite things (most of them...) yet you see them lifting pretty heavy amount of weight

  • Great video brother! And to the person who said he is tiny, your a moron this dude has some serious REAL strength and is in awesome shape. You need to go back to your chest presses at the local YMCA and let the real men train.

  • I love to train. Screw the beach muscles.

  • i've been in Recon/ForceRecon/Marsoc for the last 12 yrs. I've never done a workout like this. This is something that someone who may have been in Force Recon just made up, and called it a Force Recon workout.

  • @seekliberation

Thought MARSOC was around for 2 years?

  • 4 years now. It officially stood up back in 2006. What I meant is that I transitioned back and forth from all 3 of those units over the last 12 years.

  • @seekliberation

    Hats off to you mate.

  • I m going to join the marines sometime in the next year my goal is to make it to recon or marsoc someday. Do you have any tips on how physically prepared i need to be.

  • my recommendation for now is to focus on endurance, both in the water and on the ground. You don't have to be a speed demon, but your body needs to be able to go for a long time. Make sure you can swim at least 2 km (1.25 miles) without stopping, and get to where you can jog 8-10 miles. Another goal is 20 pull ups and 100 situps in 2 minutes, or at least close to it. When you're within 6-12 months of school, that's when you start your speed work.

  • Thanks for the input man I really appreciate it.

  • @MADMANOR91 I replied to seekliberation.

I was in BUD/S class 245/6. I promise you that if you do what I said you will be as physically prepared as possible. I breezed through the physical stuff. Freak injury (Nerve damage during log squat punishment) led to my left arm not working during 245 hell week and my quitting in 246. Even though I quit to avoid hurting people who depended on me and permanent injury it still screwed me up for a long time. Be safe and prepare well, good luck.

  • @seekliberation For all of you interested in spec ops training, read and use Stewart Smith's 12 Weeks to BUD/S workout. Recon and SEALS aren't much different, and this book has by far the best workout to specifically prepare you for spec ops training.

I'm going to completely disagree with seekliberation on the order of things. Build your strength and speed now, with a secondary focus on endurance.

Endurance builds much more quickly, it's essentially mitochondrial density.

  • @seekliberation With a good strength base, building up to pretty insane endurance only takes a few months, whereas building high levels of strength and speed(power) takes much longer because it requires actual changes in actin/myosin structures within the mucle cells.

Definitely do the swimming and running, but as a secondary to the strength training. When you get 4-6 months out you'll want to do at least 1 cycle of the 12 Weeks to BUD/S Workout. After that you'll have pretty extreme endurance.

  • You will never be prepared. Just don't over do it, the job of Basic training is to build you up after being repeatedly broken down. Your mind snaps, recruit.

  • quote A step by step description/ demonstration of the Force Recon Workout: Day 1 by Pavel Tsatsouline.

  • PANTERAAAA!!!! Excellent

  • I think that everyone should read the description before foolishly posting a negative comment about the video. This is a DEMONSTRATION of a workout written by Pvel Tsatsouline for a FORCE RECON Marine. This is only Day One. The second day consists of conditioning exercises. I admire anyone who can complete the workout in its entirety, exactly how it is written. The weights are much heavier and the sets are long. I am not a Marine, or even in the military. Just doing a workout DEMO...

  • You look like you are in fantastic shape and this looks like a very tough hardcore work out. At the same time, the title, video, and even description is deceiving. If you ask any Force Recon Marine if they do this work out, I bet a majority of them never even heard of it, and chances are they will never do any of these things. In my opinion, if you want post a video that says Force Recon Work Out, you should get it from a real Force Recon member, again, that's just me.

  • damn straight. there are so many negative, small people that post on youtube just to make themselves feel better. and i bet 99% of them couldn't do half of what you're doing. keep it up

  • @joojoogymanimus you should try the 285 pound dips 20x4 and then just do body weight dips real fast and explosive after. There amazing and fun and you feel it. that way you do slow and fast

  • @joojoogymanimus bro this workout is not that great. have u heard of the 300 workout. its 200 pushups 200 curllups 50 pullups 100 floor swipes. its the simplest most efective way to gain muscle without having to have kettle weights or all taht stuff u got

  • @joojoogymanimus Your not a Marine? Damn dude, why not become one! Shit, you'd be a kick ass marine dog!

  • better be workin out a lot harder than this if your hopin for Force Recon thats all i got to say

  • Are you , or have you ever been a recon marine ? or even a marine for that matter .. Marines dont care about weighted pullups ... yes its a good workout , but only if you can do like 30 regular pullups . my personnal best is 34 . sometimes i do ruck pullups ( thats what i call em )

  • whats the name of that song in the background? it aint ruff ryder as the ad tried to tell me

  • respect by pantera

  • sorry its Walk by pantera

  • Semper Fi and damn good song in the background bro

  • 03-28 Semper Fidelis

  • It's the tenth general order, to salute all officers and all colors and standards not cased.

These work outs are alright, but they personally aren't for me. Just do what works best for your work out, but make sure to make it challenging for your level of fitness!

  • RE.....SPECT.....WALK!!

  • the weights for your pull ups look like a pair of flat balls

  • GINGGAAAA! Lovin it bro keep it up.

im ging too so dont think im hatin.

  • you gotta love ppl who watch these pretending they kno somehting and all they end up doin is calling each other names or somehting....take it back to the playground children

  • this might be some training he did in a recon unit later after making unit team but they dont do this stuff during actual training before team. why would he do weighted pullups? they would for sure make him do higher reps.. military never wants bulk no matter what these videos say it is all bodyweight focus for endurance. also 5 reps? i know for a fact i have never ever seen even an army unit do anything for 5 reps weighted or unweighted. who wrote this workout?

  • Pantera!

  • much easier workout then i thought. then again theyre more about the cardio

  • are u even in the military??? lol

  • im applying for direct entry commandos when i finish my degree in my country. ive been training since then and have about a year or so to go

  • good shit, u'll be ready, and yea, u r right, its most cardio, we run for no reason, i hate the stupid battallion runs

  • haha yeah i have a few mates about to head off to serve. my dream is to make australian sas so ive got a long way to go

  • good luck

  • the average person can't do a pull up, they're doing reps with 30lbs...i mean its not super easy

  • yes but what do they mean by the average person? i would not expect many women, children or old people to do one. So that doesnt really leave a whole lot left i suppose.

  • your probably a person who cant even do a pull up

  • well your a cunt. i can do 10 with a 15kg weight and its not even part of a routine i usually use. your probably some fatshit who couldnt even do a pushup

  • ahahahahah i call bullshit ahahhahaha

  • whatever homo, dont care

  • aahahahahah jew

  • ahahahahahaa american.

  • heheheeh hell yes

  • Just look at the average guy walking around the mall or something. Hes probably at least a little fat and out of shape. Or just go to the beach, you won't see many good physiques.

  • Love your taste in music man, Pantera RULZ! R.I.P. Dimebag!!!!!!!

  • This is so much better since Pantera is on the video.

  • i like the pullup bar... got any specs on it? i want one.

  • i got one like that i went to my old high school and talked to the welding teacher and asked if he would have a student make me one.. and they did it.. try that.

  • hey, does anyone know where i can buy a thing like he did the pullups on? msg me

  • kick ass work out i cant wait to be shellin out pull ups like those

  • nice. i'm going to be in MARSOC. i ship off to boot camp july 17th. OORAH. Semper Fi!

  • Nice. I leave in June. You going to PI or SD? What's your MOS?

  • hoorah (marines), hooa (optional h haha) (army)

  • @Flasko7 good job and good luck for boot camp but how can you say that you going to be in MARSOC

  • @Flasko7

    ah i ship out june15th........OORAH

  • Ricky recon

  • Props for the PANTERA in the background, i would expect nothing less from Marine Spec ops!

  • damn dude, damn

  • One minute break! NOW THATS FORCE RECON

  • Dude has got a good physique to show for it. Yeah, it must be pretty weak.

  • obviously ur not a fucking marine u dumb shit. recon is allowed to grow facial hair moron. get ur damn facts straight before u try to criticize someone else cuz you'll just end up looking like a douche. so bravo to douche now stfu

  • RANGERS Lead the WAY!

  • ALL THE WAY!

  • Rangers havent lead anything since WW2...

  • empathy, i'm not gonna neg you. but just to inform ppl here who may want to go force. i'm in 2nd recon. and have friends in the other BN's. we workout on our own. if you put out youll get in a team and stay there. you need a high pft. goal is 20 pullups, 100crunches in 2mins, and a 3mile run in 18mins. you work how you need to to get there. it's diff. for every. the pull ups and crunches are key. they can help you or fuck you. a year ago i was here lookin for a way to get where i am dont give up

  • vid favorited....thanks!

  • You gotta love the marine corps pt. Build your body in the Marine Corps way.

  • oorah

  • He shouldn't swing the clean n press at the bottom. He's helping himself, so to speak, but he's actually limiting his results

  • Not really. It doesnt do that much and with those your supposed to. Not to mention he is already ripped and its not like working out in the jim is all he does to keep in shape.

  • There should be a noticeable difference between each rep.....it's just like you don't swing your arm at the end of doing regular bicep curls, for the same reason....the momentum of you swinging your arm is helping you to complete the rep, which is just cheating....it's not "staying in shape", you should always be trying to get in even better shape, and cheating reps isn't going to do that.

  • Thats true and I agree with you on that. But my guess is he does a lot more and this is just for the sake of a video.

  • look at basic kettlebell swings, there is no stopping at the end of each rep it is one constant movement while snapping the hips to keep the momentum moving the kettlebell. it is more about keeping the pace and purn up for an aerobic/muscular endurance workout. this type of training isnt really about bulking up. you can practice a certain degree of muscle control even with momentum if focus in on what muscle your really want to work and dont overswing out of control like an idiot

  • @davidmpenwell87 true, i wuz just sayin this isnt my kinda workout cuz im lookin for a different result, one i view as much better lol if he wanted to gain size, which mist ppl should want, then he is doing this all wrong

  • why is it kilos ur going by instead of lbs

  • 1½ * sorry.

  • thanks

  • Thats funny, become a machine not a tool.

  • Iam sorry, LOL!!!!! you can neg me all you want, I havnt been here in a long time, Ive been fighting. This is not RECON training SO FUCK you. RUN RUN RUN.

Become a machine not a tool.
