I know there is not much difference in the GE and GTE block besides oil squirters but do you feel its better to run the GE bottom end vs GTE if both had same rod/piston set up?
@SupraExDriver So you kept the higher compression pistons and got a thicker head gasket to effectively lower the CR. What about cams? Can you achieve similar results with meth injection as compared to E85 as it is not available in my area
@DVcustomZ Correct. This has TTC oem-regrinds. I believe they are in the 264 realm. Meth is not as effective as E85 but definitely helps. You just have to be careful as you're adding another variable to tuning.

I have decided to build a 240sx drag car using the 2jz powerplant. Some questions
1)which IRS that comes in toyota/lexus will handle 1000whp thru a TH400?
2)I have hear the usdm 2jz R better than the JDM is the accurate?
3)Starting out figured to keep power at 600whp (approx curb weight 2200lbs) what mods do you suggest?
4) off topic will the suspen/diff/axles of a 95-99 gs300 handle 450whp+

thats not the stock NA block with the 10.5:1cr I know you just rebuilt it with new pistons head gasket and arp head studs or what?
