  • @twangmang Hey, Kevin, thanks a lot. I was talking to my wife just yesterday about this time you played some Elliot Easton solo (to a T) at Rodney's. Good to hear from you, my friend.

  • Damn, very impressive performance good sound

quality not that distorted. I'm sure if you took

this band and gave them all the same gear

as GAMMA. and had them record in a good

studio with Davey on vocals it would sound pretty sweet.

  • Thanks a lot. That ranks in the top 3 of the best compliments I've received in my 44 years.

  • Getting Kevin's music out there for the world to enjoy! RIGHT ON AND IT'S ABOUT TIME! (Oh and that Davey Jones...er Pattison character feller sounds ok too! LOL)

We miss ya and the baseball games too Kev!

  • I thought it was softball. . .

  • There are some great songs on those albums, aren't there?

  • I LOVE Gamma! If ever there was a band that deserved more credit, you know? Ronnie is absolutely one the greatest guitarists ever, and the first 2 Gamma albums have so much fire and energy, the notes almost fly off the reccord (yes I said record! :) and put holes in the dustcover! I am 39 years old and have heard and seen many bands in my life, but i don't think any band has ever got that rare balance of a hard rock/progressive sound with a modern edge, AND being a touch Bluesy as Gamma did!

  • I absolutely agree! The first 2 albums were fantastic. How about Speed of Sound, though? That was a great album (though I purchased the cassette).

  • Hey skok. I LOVE Speed of Sound and have 3 copies on cd I bought over the years at used record shops because they went out of print. I have Diva Station, Mutatis Mutandis, the Live CD and even the very hard to find "Mr Bones" Sega Game Audio CD too. Yep, you could say I love Ronnies' playing! I have a bootleg concert dvd from San Diego I found on ebay which is really cool too. It's SOOOO hard to find anything on him, even living in the Bay Area where he is the most popular! Peace -dave

  • where's the studio version released in the late 70s that went broadcast on the MOR stations? (such as maryland and the east coast?)

  • sorry, i just loved the studio version.. with the semi-tech and then the mor ride up onto the hard rock sequence that drove into the mainstream bang out into the main sectional chorus blitz... i've been looking for it a long, long, long time and no one has it.. (yet) i just love the piece... it has so many sequences that built up to the opening... :( it's gotta be somewhere eh?

  • And that Steve Kelly just nails it, though he looks a lot different with short hair!!

    :-)

    Tim Hoctor

  • Hey, Tim! Thanks a lot. The first time I ever recorded was in your parent's garage!

  • hey man that sounds awesome! I wish i could have been alive in the 80's they were amazing =). My username is stuckinthe80s4ever because 80's music and before and a little after that is all i listen to =). GnR, Led Zepp, Aerosmith, and that kind of stuff. I love that music =))

  • Thanks a lot!

  • Thats excellent Steve. Cheers for the share mate. ;-D

Looks like you were having a ball there.

  • Those were good times. . . Damn good times. . .
