how do you get pure black world tendency?

This stage took me so many tries, I had pure black then and no experience of the stage. The 2 red eye knights just destroy me. What made this worse was that Biorr turned hostile during the blue dragon(some PB glitch). Had to kill him in the Nexus so that I could even stand a chance of getting past that.

??? black phantom to 1:30 etc : all the people in demon's soul that haven't a shield must bee attacked again and again; is the easiest way. the people with a big shield must to turn around and attacked in the back easiest way too. the magician black phantom must bee attack when her have the bow, another easiest way. i finish the game 3 time with always the same army: bastard sword, scimitar, white bow, small shild and the items for magic and pray always in single player. fuck yeah.

Then I went to 1-3. I Got lucky with the penetrator 'cause Biorr helped me out.

And for King Allant, it took me 15-20 mins, with constant dodging and patience I got him !

Ostrava's sword can be blocked by dark shield. If you don't have it, roll out of the way of his R1 attack then rush him for a back stab (don't do this on his R2 attack though, he recovers too quick on that one). After 4-6 backstab he goes down. I liked Ostrava though & hate that you have to fight him. Also hate fighting Old King Doran (its fun but I like the NPC), those are the two coolest characters in the game, at least in my opinion.

Allant has to be the hardest boss I have ever fight in my years of gaming. The beauty of the game is that the npcs arent stupid and predictable. It seems they have a way to developing to your type of style.

Great video. I think Allant's a superb last boss and I too love duking it out with him hand-to-hand. I have got the Platinum in the PAL version of the game, but have just started a run-through of the Chinese version! Such an epic game; easily the best game I've played since the PS2 days.

can sum1 please help me out? if so thanks, i saved ostrava from all 3 times in 1-3 he runs up those steps i saved him... i killed the knights i tlk 2 him again he still sed they was after him. during the level i completely forgot about him and moved on. hes now left my nexus and hes not in the same spot at 1-3. i thought he wud of moved onto 1-4 but oh no. hes not even sittin on the steps there. iv killed him in blk phantom but its his key im after i cant find it anywere :( :( help please? lol

ur like me kinda i am lvl 60 dex build for bows but u need a sticky bow +3 to do good damage at my level. i hit 250s with normal arrows and i use the blind sword to because it used dex for power i made this build up called the blind bow.

@jayhasfoundya miralda is not a black phantom, if you want a black eye stone you can kill the black phantoms in these places: 2-2 in the tunnel after you take the elevator down. 3-1 right before the boss. 4-2 inside the trap that patches kicks you into. 5-1 any of the three black phantoms there

Basically, each time you die in a world when in body form, the tendency of that world goes toward black. I think you need to die 7 times to get pure black. The enemies will then be tougher but the loot and souls earned greater.

If you finish a world without dying in body form, you'll get pure white (easier foes but less souls and loot).

If you want pure white, just die in the nexus (no WT there) after defeating a boss so your world tendency isn't affected.

PS: dying in soul form doesn't matter

You can reduce your world tendency by killing certain who appear in PWWT. (Miralda and Satuski, for example). World tendency is also lost when you die in body form in a certain world. Easy strategy for PBWT is this: go to desired world with five or six Stones of Ephemeral Eyes, revive yourself and die. Rinse and repeat until you've used up those stones.

Either pure black or pure white. At pure white, you'll face Miralda in body form. Body form Miralda drops the Binded armor set, which can only be equipped by females characters. Killing her will reduce your world tendency by three points. At pure black world tendency, you'll face black phantom Miralda, who, upon being defeated, drops a Guillotine Axe. (Note: the Guillotine Axe is also a rare drop from axe soldies). Killing BP Miralda will increase your world tendency by three points.

The way it works:

When you die in revived (body) form, you make your world blacker. Each time you die in body form the WT is reduced by 1. You can usually tell when you have pure black WT when the little eye thing in the top right of the screen is deep black in colour. You will also see more NPC black phantoms in the stages.

To make your world white you must defeat boss demons, character black phantoms or Primeval demons.

... For character tendency, it depends on your 'moral choices' in the game. For example, if you Kill NPCs, like those in the Nexus, your CT will become blacker. I think you also turn your character black by invading other people's worlds as a black phantom and killing them. CT will influence some special items you can get. For Pure black CT there is a special mission in the nexus. CT does alter the stages like WT does, but it will make certain enemies weaker or stronger depending on how you play

just beat this effing boss... took me 5 hrs to beat... ur character has a lot of health and endurance as compared to my character... and i realized that wearing knight armor stuff suck ass because u can barely dodge and run

Not really. Health really doesn't help you much in a playthrough where 3 hits from the weakest enemy will kill you.

And yeah, I found out the hard way that dodging > defense.

I always find the False King a stressful demon to fight. I suppose it's got something to do with that he never really gives you a break to heal HP and MP, re-cast protective spells, etc. You've got to be fast on your toes the whole fight or you're dead.

That's why I always bring as many Blue Phantoms as possible. I avoid his attacks until he targets someone else and heal when he isn't focusing on me. And then I pepper him with arrows from my Lava Bow (I bring the White Bow too for the Blue Dragon). All-in-all a relatively simple and easy fight if you have some help. Even with 1 Blue Phantom with me, I think he's easy.  We just tag-team him, when he locks onto one of us the other shoots or slices the bloody hell out of him.

Keep on dying while you are in body form in that world. So, for example, jump off a cliff in a world, so that you kill yourself, WHILE in body form, NOT soul form. Then return to the Nexus, revive yourself with Stones of Ephemereal Eyes, and then go back to that world and do it again. Keep repeating these steps until you see that your world tendency is really really dark. That's all.

In order to make it black. You can do 1 of 2 things. Keep suiciding. and go back to the nexus to use a Stone of ephemereal eyes. or you can kill ed or the other vendor (Not recomended on your first playthrough) and go back to the nexus. oh. dont forget to have Lots of Stone of Ephemereal eyes... cause you need to do it like... 13 times or somthing like that. i just do storm king runs. buy 999 shards of hardstone and sharpstone (large and small) then kill the vendor. time consuming. but worthit.

nooo dont kill sage freke. you can get the Sages robes if you go back and get the key to Rydells cell (you get it in 3-2 needs white world tendency and its on the first tower where you Bust that chain.) then you just go free rydell and on the same floor. inside those cells you can get the Three Cornered hat (yuria's hat) and also sage frekes robes. Or be like me and kill everyone when your finished the game XD

You can get the robes by killing Sage Freke, or a much more difficult way, which you can just google.

I got the Bladestones in 4-2; took me around 2 hours to get all I needed.

one good thing about large sword fo moonlight and blind ( selen vinlands sword) is that they ignore shields. so a attack on someone whos blocking would be screwed casue the attack damage would be the same if he wasnt blocking.

Yep. The only thing is: Large Sword of Moonlight is incredibly slow, and it doesn't have a huge attack bonus as other weapons, and Blind is fast, and is a pretty good weapon to use, but it does very little damage which scales horribly afterwards. That's why I use strategy and tactics to hit my opponents after wasting their stamina =D

Nice arrow at the end. Good battle and thanks for the help with the Blue Dragon, I have an idea of where to stand now to defeat it. Only other question I have is what bow are you using? I am a level 66 and i have a White bow, would that be best for the battle agains the Blue Dragon? I am just looking for helpful pointers to take it down.

I am using a Sticky Compound Longbow +5, the best bow, damage-wise, in the game. White Bow DOES have the benefit of shooting farther (that is, zooming in further), but the Sticky Compound Longbow +5 gives an attack boost modifier of S in Dexterity, so you get the greatest attack bonus from this bow. White Bow only gives an E and D in two stats, while this bow gives an S in one. S> D+E, so that's why I use it.

You find it in 4-1 where the Skeleton Archer next to the Crystal Lizard is.

I've beaten the game around 7 times now.

The only way I know to always work is to suicide and come back to Nexus every time, to make sure it turns black. After suiciding, and seeing no change in blackness, then you're Pure Black.

Pure White is kinda iffy. If you start from Pure Black, and kill the Primevil Demon, BP NPC, and a boss, you'll be in pure white.
