@KisharoDragonwings you probably figured it out already but the delete and end buttons are the default for rotating the canvas. you can also click the buttons(they look like curver arrows) in the middle of the window directly above the canvas or use the drop down menu by them.

You could just use the inkpen, and set the stablizer to a S-5 or S-7 to get accurate lines. Saves so much time than using the curve tool ;^;

iDrawMaple, I am so happy that I saw this video. Thank you for showing me the curve tool of Sai, it fits PERFECTLY with the kind of lineart I'll try to do. I don't like Illustrator because it's too 'straight" same with Photoshop. I also don't want to rely entirely on pen tool because my hands might get wriggly. Thus... this Curve tool is the perfect answer for ME. (Just my opinion) so Thank you thank you thank you!!

actually i think you did well :D i think it's ingenious and you did show an example of what you meant on not leaving any spaces between lines :) right after the annotation you had to correct the space between the dress and the bow so *thumbs up* Awesome!

@bleachfandesu You extract it in an extraction tool and you double click on the folder until you get to the green icon with paintbrushes on it, click it, and choose "new" from "file". It's not that hard.

I use pen because line and curve always end up the dame density and when you have a tablet the harder u press the thicker line goes. it makes more interesting lineart. but if ur using a mouse, i suggest line/curve...

@ThenThereWasMary Oh. Then I dunno. Just try to make sure your lines are always connecting and you fill in the color on a different layer than your lines I guess. If it's on the same layer as another color and it's touching the other color it'll turn it to whatever you were trying to fill.

i want to color a line art i found on deviant art on Sai, and i was told to put a seond layer underneath and color the under layer. But the lineart needs to be transparent otherwise you can't see what you're doing. I wouldn't mind coloring right on the lineart except when i erase what i color, of course the lineart is erased. Do you have any recommendations on how to color a non transparent linart or is there a way to make it transparent?

@blossom1671 Work really /really/ big (like 2000x2000 or bigger) when you zoom out your lines will look crisp and clean and its better for resizing later.
