Gorgeous voice and it was so sad that she died at only 41. She was so brave that she continued with her last performance at Covent Garden even though by then the cancer had got to her bones and her leg broke on stage! Amazing woman.

The Ferrier voice is out of this world but my God what was Sargeant doing with the temo? Over a minute longer than most others. He could only get away with that because of the extraordinary skill of the singer. At least we get to hear her for longer.

I find this womans voice so moving and spiritual. always gives me goosebumps... if you can't be moved by this womans geneus you have no soul.....voice of a angel to me this.... always has .. always will be 10/10
