Billy Bob Thornton is known as "Bud" in the band and he wanted the interview to be about the band and not him and his acting career, but as soon as the interviewer mentioned him as an actor, most viewers\listeners have already started paying attention to Billy Bob Thornton the actor and not Bud the musician. Although Bud might have been an ass during the interview, once the interview linked Billy Bob Thornton as an actor before a musician, it changed the view to an actor rather than musician!

Thank you for commenting. As a Canadian, I have to say I am proud of how Jian Ghomeshi handled it all. Whatever Thorton was trying to do, he diminished his credibility and made a fool of himself. Those other band mates didn't look too pleased. Wouldn't want to be in their shoes.

I watched that interview and it kind of looked like a Work. It looked like a ANDY Kaufman Wrestling thing. It looks like a DOcuDrama "they Broke up because....now there back together this is spinal tap" IT Looks to strange and doesnt look even like a High type moment.
