  • To Everyone who asked if you can buy this Simulator:

YES YOU CAN. The Game is called "Railfan"and is released for PS3 in 2006. But only in Asia. It includes the Track too which is showed in the Video.

So if you want to have the Game you have to buy and Import it over Ebay.

Iam from Germany and i have this Game too.^^

  • but how does it work ??

  • wtf! So is this a simulator? wow!!!!

  • so boring

  • Where I can buy this Simulator?

  • but because its a video and their are people at the stations; if u speed up will the video speed up? so would the people walk fast and stuff?

  • @crudnup Weren't you watching the video. The whole point of it was the variable speed at a fixed frame rate. So they were saying that the train sped up, but the people don't because the frame rate stays the same.

  • @TheLazyAIchemist

Nope watch the end of the video again, the people are walking very quickly.

  • @crudnup

    correct

  • i would like to buy one. where can i find

  • stil no matter how much simulation you do nothing eats the real thing

  • WTF? is this real life?

I can't wait until video game graphics get this good . All in real time of course.

I am guessing CPU power of 3 Cell Broadband Chips and three Expensive graphics cards. ...

  • it's not good graphics... it IS real life. they say in the video that it was recorded using a video camera.

  • Geez, guys, this is not a game, this is the simulator for future drivers. We use something similar in the university, but fps on low speeds really suck there. Damn, our trains suck too, lol. SORRE FUR MAH ENGURISH

  • So what happens when you go to fast around a corner and crash?

  • @Slitka

i would love to see that lol

  • I'll take this for the future of video games, Fuck Natal.

  • The future of video games is to watch a movie at variable speeds?

  • LOL

  • @01DOGG01 euh no for simulators maybe^^

  • @01DOGG01 Um it's not a video game it's a trainer dumbass.

  • @DracoAzule Try reading the comment that i was replying to before dribbling at the mouth you retard

  • so the vid is simply slowed down (and the fps is constant).

then people have to move slower if you slow the train. lol

  • exactly, the same would happen if there is a plane or helicopter onscreen. when you brake it would stop dead in the air.

  • Is this just not controlling the speed of a video?

  • i want one soo bad

  • I would rather just watch the video of the train going around

    :D

  • nice HDR lol

  • I dont see why this is new, GRAN TURISMO anyone?

  • the High Definition looks sooo awesome!

    this is really good

  • Why would snow be falling inside the tunnel?

  • really cool and great tech but I don't think it's really useful. I hope to see other applications of this technology

  • I think it's super cool!

  • I think this is an application of what computer engineers say "image-based computer graphic," not an ordinary HD video.

Firstly, they record the scenery of the railroad (maybe several times), then make it into a mathematical model so that the train simulator can regenerate computer movies in any replay speed.

  • That no hace difficult, use camera and REC all travel. And the controls, can be simulate you do speed up you only advance fastly the video o slowly. but i f you want to get more efficiently put more camera arrounde the travel in the rail. And you can stop completly the train but you can see all cars and people moving normal, if you slow video that train and stop all of natural moves stop. and become false.

  • thats no are a game.

  • No are graphis that's a video

  • wow, looks pretty sweet!

  • coool
