codebreaker 8 and above will work on your version. I would personally recommend 9.2 and above though

If that is the case u will either have to get version 9.22 [like what i use] on a memory card. Or u will have to use another cheat device like Xploder [which is by far no comparison to codebreaker]

does the 9.22 disk work on pal or does it have to be on a memory card if not then does xploder have tekken 5 codes thats the main game i want to mod.

The 9.22 is not on a disc. It is only available on the memory card or other storage medium. Xploder however, does have some codes for tekken 5 but nowhere near what codebreaker has or even action replay for that matter.
