Siskel and Ebert bicker like an old married couple. Ebert and Roeper are like a son arguing with a critically minded father, only somehow Roeper ended up playing the role of the supposedly mature one.

No matter how strongly Siskel and Ebert disagreed, I always got the impression that they respected and liked each other. Ebert seems irritated by Roeper at times. He needs a stronger foil and Roeper is a bit of a lightweight.

I posted a comment saying Roeper was an idiotic for giving thumbs down on a Robert Altman film, I will admit that comment was harsh, but Roeper makes me mad sometimes mainly because he comes off mean towards Ebert whenever he doesn't agree with his judgement.
