  • @diwanee3 - You are most welcome, my dear "long time" friend Diwanee.

    Take care.

  • What can be a greater tribute to pay to every one's dear Dev than weave together his enchating songs as you have done, thanks Yuan. He is inseparable from his film song sequences & your picks are very good, considering a vast store to choose from. Okay for others to give speeches in his memory. Dev & Bina Rai probably worked together in only one film, Insaaniyat - she looked even better than she did in Anarkali, my primary memory of her. The heart weighs heavy reminiscing the great Romantic.

  • @nandu1f - Thank you my dear friend for your very nice comment on our beloved Dev Sahaab.

  • Dear yuanyuan -

The eight part series was the best tribute to the everygreen romantic legend. As his life long fan, I am very much indebted for the amazing series

May his noble soul rest in peace - Yúnshuǐ

  • @unsuidojo - You are most welcome, my dear friend.

I being an uploader, this is all what I could do to honour the legend's memory.

May his soul Rest In Peace.

  • India has lost one of her most famous sons. Very few actors may not be able to walk a mile is Dev Anand-ji shoes. He was well loved and will be greatly missed. May his soul rest in peace!

  • Another wonderful song in tribute to Dev Anand. For some reason I have not heard this duet for many years, so it's a special delight to see it here now. And it's always an equal pleasure to see the lovely Asha Parekh paired with the handsome Dev Anand. Thanks, Yuan.

  • @chamogaa I see that you have more than one song in this upload. My comment only addressed the first song. The other songs are also a pleasure to listen to.

  • @chamogaa - You are most welcome, my dear Professor.

  • “An era has come to an end. Dev Anand leaves a void never perhaps to be filled again. He never gave up belief, his joy of life,” tweeted actor Amitabh Bachchan.

Manmohan Singh, India’s prime minister, said in a statement that his country had lost “one of its most endearing heroes.”

Anand reportedly wanted to be remembered in life, not death, and asked his family to perform his last rites privately. More than anything else, he wanted to die with his boots on—and so he did!
