Yes, you did have a disk system, 3D-glasses and so on. We (in former USSR) didn't. But we had turbo buttons on all the gamepads, Subors with integrated keyboard and G-BASIC (Family BASIC clone) on a cart and RF switch was most valuable thing because in our country almost no one had the TV sets with composite input. And you certainly didn't have f***ing 26 Mario sequels! :D
Friend, I understand, you like the more disk Famicom and Famicom, but considering that Sharp had to be a CLONE? licensed? if he is licensed, it is official. Particularly I think all good, since clones are clones. TWIN is not clone. 2 in 1 does not mean clone. clone is a console that is not officially agree?.
actually the famicom rf unit will work on the back of the famicom it will show the rf plug and it will say channel 1 and 2 and that is the equivalint to channel 95 and 96 on a north american tv set I wouldn't use the nes rf box
I'm sorry Bibleteen, please forgive my snide and sarcastic comment.
Although I can't share in your religious zealousness, I do share in the obsession of obscure vintage entertainment gear. I would seriously be just as excited to unwrap a famicom
video is pretty cool, though the rf switch that comes with it is compatible with us tvs just the older ones, the Atari 2600 came with something very similar to that
Despite the fact that the Sharp Twin Famicom was a licensed clone of the original Famicom and Famicom Disk System, I think it's a great console because you get Famicom and Disk System for the price of one. The only problem with the Twin Famicom is it just doesn't have that look and feel like the original Famicom and Disk System. But despite this, I actually like the Twin Famicom to some extent, but I like the original better.
As a matter of fact, I do have a Famicom Disk System, and I'm planning on making a special review of it in Season 2 of my videos. I couldn't review it in Season 1 of my videos because I only had one game that worked. I originally bought it with 5 games, but I kept getting ERR. 22 (Similar to the infamous NES gray screen.) on the other 4 games. So I had to ship them back for replacement games, but I haven't got them in the mail yet. Hopefully I will soon!
Are you kidding?! This is the Nintendo Famicom. This is the Japanese Nintendo Entertainment System! This is what brought the video game market back to life after everyone thought that video games were just a fad that had already run its course! This is one of the purest forms of gaming!
I'm not criticizing you or anything like that, but this is one of the best gaming consoles ever made!
The Famicom's RF switch can be used on an american tv, you just have to have your tv tuned to channel 95 or 96. 95 corresponds to the channel 1 side of the switch on the back of the system, and 96 corresponds to channel 2 on the back.
are you gay by any chance your voice is cute

Methinks Famicom Basic is a programing program.
Id Est: A Famicom "Game" that allows you to create your own game.
Hence the sprites.

hey pal....ERR.22 is not caused by the games themselves, its the system. Probably needs a new belt and heads realigned.
