okay I have a major issue and since this video has the most views I might aswell try my luck here

many people may have experienced this.. but example

okay my project requires many scenes, which I have animated, and to simplify matters, I render each scene and then put them in a single document.

However the movie clips WITHIN the .swf file never play the tweens and everything like that.

This is a real cunt of an issue which adobe has not yet ironed out, can anybody provide help?

@oldmanwithers1 Make sure delete any stop(); commands in your top layer. And make sure all of your clips are saved as movieClips, not graphic symbols...

The camera makes it look worse than it is. And, you are missing the idea. This type of application is brand new to flash and it is getting rendered on the server and the client. The way it is getting served is what they are showing off. If you had any idea what you were talking about you would realize this. I doubt that this is a finished product, it is a work in progress. We should shun the guy who made the first dial up modem because it didn't run at 10mb/second, too.

@PaXx - No trick, just not ready for release in CS5. Physics was slated for CS6 but just enough of the functionality was available to demo for MAX. Trying to help gauge users interest in it.

@GOOB3000 probably not, the physics engine is amazing except it looks like it works in keyframes in the timeline, which increases the size of swf, so as for games, websites, etc. , box would probably be your best bet, for now at least.

Excellent. Can't wait for the 3D engine.

Actually physics is not a new think in Flash, but you have to code it and it's pretty complex. This new physics generator means less time consuming coding. However, I'm not sure why it creates a frame-by-frame animation rather than just keep it on 1 frame and let the script do the work. It would be lighter on the Flash player. Maybe for better personalization.

All of the sneaks were great, but I think one of the best segments starts @ 3:40. Not only does the new physics engine rock, but having it presented by a Wookie is awesome as well. Mark Hamil's commentary is hilarious. Great job on the Sneaks theme this year Adobe! Thanks for posing CS5!
