@buggld I think that is really well said. He still makes it look so effortless though. This kid can even shred on a ukelele too. I think there must be some level of musical gifting even if it's mostly just pure heart and constant practice.

funny what yall say, this kid has amazing style, and the fingerpicks and thumbpick are his own thing, he likes it that way, skills it took "andy don antoine" as you say, years to develop, where he took 2-3 years and has it down better than anyone you know, im not defending him, but facts are there, amazing. and he has his own songs, and they are actually really good

I have to totally agree with rgvhen. I have nothing but the highest praise for this young player. I would love to see him get rid of the finger pics and develop a more organic tactile tonal and subtle dynamic control and relationship to the soul of the music more than accuracy and hitting the right notes. I look forward to seeing this technical young prodigy mature musically.

Well, this kid is getting the technical side of it down, albeit mechanical, but let's give him some time, he's just a small boy. But the real test, "creative genius", that's what Antoine Dufour, Andy McKee, and Don Ross have. Only time will tell if this kid will be able to create works of art. He's on the right track, though. This is my favorite song by Antoine Dufour and as much I praise you for your prodigious work with the guitar I never wanted you to cover this song. Mainly because I fell in love with the song and felt it should be kept to Mr. Dufour.. Sungha you've blown my mind. It sounds as clear as well balanced or even better then Antoine Dufours original.
