The Resident Evil franchise it's about to change forever, so this RE5 it's just a way to close shut the door right in the face of old RE-fans. Wesker is dead, Chris and Jill are too old to appear in another RE game... probably only Leon and Claire have a chance, but I'm not sure of it.

parasite can't live without a host. if the parasite turns them into zombie's, then their in essence "killing them". which obviously means that these "things" in resident evil 4 and 5 are NOT zombies. Zombies are the living dead, the enemies in RE4 and 5 were never dead. Dude, just play resident evil 4 and see for yourself. Look it up on the resident evil wikia and it will say the same thing. These enemies have nothing to do with zombies. These are completely different.

they don't. Zombies are slow and follow only their primitive instincts. The enemies in RE 4 and 5 can take orders and are a hell of a lot smarter. These enemies can use weapons like axes and clubs, how many zombies do you know that can do that? They also act collectively as opposed to acting as individuals.

somebody has to die before they can turn into a zombie. Either they get infected with the virus and it kills, then turns into a zombie, or the virus infects a person already dead and it reanimates him. Either way, the brain is destroyed except for the most primal instincts to feed and survive. Feeding is a zombies only motive. The enemies in RE 4 and 5 are not actually dead. If they are dead, then the parasite has nothing to feed off. Therefore they are smarter and can wield weapons.
