Rip currents are easy to get out of. Just swim parallel to the beach. Nothing to it.

People die because they try to swim against the rip current, get tired and drown.

Ooooo nice beach. I agree with the currents. I already knew how to swim the front crawl when I was six (my dad made me learn everything) and my parents warned me about the ocean. I know I am a good swimmer, but those currents can easily tire out and also drag even the best swimmer in the world to the vast sea. And I have to say, it's scary.
