where is that shooting range at the end? i am planning on doing it in 2012 and we need to make the most of the relaxed shooting laws in western europe and asia!
This is so brilliant! Some friends and I are planning a run in 2013. What advice do you have? Was there anything that you brought that you didn't need? Or something you didn't bring that you wished you'd had? What about the language barrier? How did you cope with that? Or the preconception that the Central Asian steppes are crawling with bandits: how true is that?
that looks amazing, im hoping to do it on my gap year in 2012, i was just wondering how much you need to know about mechanics when your on it, or is it easy to find places to mend things easolly??
Quite the memorable adventure that will last a lifetime for those who partook. Thanks from those of us who live it vicariously through your tube presentation. Well done!
@Arda86ca I think it would have lasted about 5 minutes by the road side in Mongolia :) It was about 60KM from UB, so close to the finish but it just would not grip the roof any more and slid off every time we used the brakes
@Mikedav777 i know. It probably is in use right now whoever found it. Did you guys leave your car here in UB. I see a lot of Mongol Rally cars , but have not been able to spot any RHD two door huyndais. I will take a pick and send you if i see, so that you have your teary moment haha
Awesome video guys, planning on doing this in a couple of years, looks amazing!!

Quality video gents. I've been looking for my next tremendously stupid trip to take and I think you've just inspired me to try the rally. Genius.
