yeah I don't think so.. the fourseasons and the other resorts on Maui are one of the top 10 , turtle bay wasn't even in the top 10

Its kinda funny , how the movie Forgetting Sarah Marhsall made this hotel seem so luxurious but in actually they have more complaints about theft and how getto the place is.. LOL

I enjoy this resort, its all busy in Honolulu, like California. The apartment rooms are nice, the private ones. Better than the Hyatt.

We've been burglarized at Turtle Bay Resort. Somebody entered our room with Master Elec. Card Key. Resort Management ignored us until we left. Once back on the continent, they accused us of attempts to "defame" the Resort. The night of the burglary, a women was attacked and violated at the Hotel. Hotel Security Officer told us that ".Turtle Bay Resort CANNOT and WILL NOT guarantee safety to its guests". Quite a comment to make! The Resort is presently in bankruptcy so your security is optional.

A car is definitely recommended, because it takes us about 40 minutes to an hour to reach Honolulu from the resort, and Turtle Bay is isolated on the North Shore. The good news? A Starbucks is only a few minutes inland, so you're not completely isolated.

Best time to go? I went the first week of November and it was fantastic. The weather was warm, we had a minimum amount of rain, and there weren't an overwhelming amount of tourists.

This is a nice resort.. went there in may of '06 and the staff was on strike.. haha

They were professional about it though.. they striked in shifts.. only thing that was annoying was that when you enter the resort they would block the entrance for a minute while they picket before they let you in.. got a couple funny pics of that lol
