does the ford 302 just bolt right in, or do i have to machine some custom mounts or oilpan, and do i have to bang on the firewall to get the transmission to fit?
thanks for the info, right now i'm just swapping out the dead KA24 i have in it with a living one, so i don't have to bus everywhere this winter (it needs new paint anyway) but in the long run, i was thinking about an LS1 swap, which i later ruled out because im not spending 6-10 grand on a corvette engine when i could swap in a 302 for like 1-3 grand, but thanks, now i know i'm going to have to get some mounts and an oilpan machined, and the crossmember modified as well??

EVERYTHING is custom. and no. you dont have to beat the firewall or trans tunnel.

yeah i made a diff trans crossmember but it would be cleaner to use a modded stock one

dnt get 3 unless you planning on putting a cam, heads etc...
id go with 2.5 or 2.75 you loose back pressure wen you go big piping with a stock 5.0 but you got a sick ass setup bro

thnx. its a 302 bored 40 ,flat top's fly cut, ported and polished E7's , L900 lifters not sure about the cam though
