I've had mine 2 years now and it's still working great. It's very durable. I've dropped it numerous times, and hit it against just about everything and it shows no signs of wear. I've also gone swimming with it in the ocean plenty of times and it hasn't shown any signs of rust (although I do wash it in fresh water afterwards). It also does a great job keeping up with the tide and the moon phases.
I just got this watch today as a Christmas gift. It looks really good. Not only is it stylish, but also very durable. Two thumbs up for this watch. :bd
I just ordered one. im not a watch junkie but i figured i hear about and see g-shocks all the time so theres gotta be something good about them. i got this color because of this review...it just looks really nice. i wanted to know how its been holding up for you. also, does it explain setup in the manual it comes with or will i have to search for that info?
G-shock is the only watch that never broke at work. i left a g-shock watch at my work site and swore someone stole it, came back two months later it was half way buried in some mud......still working! G-Shock is the best warch for a blue collar job.
the back plate and all the exposed metal showing is titanium. Gulfman series are made for the ocean use. any sign of rust you get your money back if your watch is registered
Yeah if I could do it over I'd get the blue one. I bought mine off ebay from "Daves watches" who I had a great buying experience with. He had some blue ones available if I remember correctly. Mine came brand new in the box with the Casio's warranty.
Had mine for one month now and I love it.....I have a bad habit of slamming watches into door nobs as I walk by which is not a problem with this watch cause it can take just about anything.
Thanks for the comments! I've considered the S/A Mudman but there are some other retro models I'd rather have first. Actually, I have just received the Tan Mudman that I'll review later. Thanks for watching!
no problem, the S/A is really awesome, and this one seems pretty good too, the tide graph and moon phase is cool. a couple questions, the animal on the back, is that a turtle, cause mine is the mudman so it has a mole for mud resist. and how much is the S/A version of that.
@nickdolin24 I just order the tan/greyish one lol..I have a red mudman already and a couple other models...after I got my first mudman I could not resist getting naother one....I dont think I can buy another g-shock thats not in the master of g series lol...so now I'm looking at the gulfman (the light bue one tho) and it looks like a solid watch thx for the review!
i have a small wrist....is this going to fit without looking odd?
