Does any two different exercises (to be specific bench presses) counter affect each other. I say this because some days when I add an exercise to my set of exercises I feel that my chest does not become as stiff as the previous days. Thanks again for you help. AND PEOPLE PLEASE LIKE SO THAT THEY CAN SEE THIS message.

  • lol i got the full program on ebay for much cheaper price

  • what a ridiculous shmig

  • is it better to use a heavy weight to really stress your muscle or a lower weight to make sure you do perfect form?

  • @cbayley9 you should strain your muscle more as muscle gain is based on muscle-fibers tearing and rebuilding themselves... but try to stick to form as well as possible!

  • @cbayley9 it depends, use heavier weights to increase your strength and lower ones to tone your muscles

  • @cbayley9 get the heavier weight u can do the 8-12 reps perfectly, without failing. if it's for strenght, get the heavier weight possible, doing 3-5 reps, failing

  • @cbayley9 You wanna use lower weight in the beginning to obtain perfect form. Then once you feel that you're comfortable with the workout and have truly mastered it, then you want to move onto heavy weights that you can do 6-8 reps with. because lower weights won't get you big or give you muscle mass, it'll just build endurance and tone you out. but you don't want to lift for 6-8 reps when you don't have the perfect form down because it can lead to injuries and funky/uneven muscles.

  • so...let me get this...we're gonna do all 6 exercises without rest in between...after 1 set (6 exercises) we would rest for about 30 seconds...and then start from the beginning for the 2nd set right? is it ok doing more than 3 sets?

  • YEah I know! show off...

  • "i usually curl alittle heavier (no im MIKE CHANG!) much heavier than this"

  • I heard it was a bad thing to work 2 muscle groups so close together in the one workout? :/

  • Just wondering, how long does your workouts last? since this is kind of a burnout.

  • Guys, if you really want to build MASSIVE arms and get ripped muscles you should be following the same fitness guide Mike Chang (the guy from the video!) does!

  • I did it its hard but super effective.

  • His bicep is bigger than my head

  • why did you think of this video, I cant follow it there no proof it works!

  • @raymondrgraham He's not gonna give us anything that doesn't work!

  • @raymondrgraham

    dude, it works

    he's a certified trainer

  • @sixpackshortcuts So do we do 3 sets of each excersices?

  • shi**t, i don't have dumbells :(

  • @risingforceshogun188 do pushups then lol and you could use your chair to train your triceps...

  • @risingforceshogun188 for working biceps you will need them :S

  • wait so should i just do till failure or just go ahead and do 8 to 12 reps?

  • how many times do I have to do this per day ?

  • what if u cant do a push up due to lack of upper body strength, would planking help gain muscle?

  • Amazing body man

  • Why are people arguing about politics on this video? lol

  • @sixpackshortcuts A friend of mine said it is bad to train biceps and triceps on 1 day of working out is this true?

  • @notSOADdable no it's not you can push a car and still lift a heavy box without it being "bad" for your muscles, just depends on your training schedule and if you have none why care about split training in the first place

  • @MutsuKazuma I understand that its not bad for the muscle, but he said that it puts too much strain on the bones or somthing like that if you trainyour triceps and biceps on the same day.

  • @notSOADdable biceps and triceps use relatively light weight compared to bench presses for exmaple and everyone seems to do chest and biceps at the same day, so how is that less stress?

  • How much they weigh?

  • Hey Mike, i got myself some adjustable dumbells. Is putting 1 extra kilo on every week to much?

  • I got a question Mikey boy. So in total of these 6 exercises i am supposed to do 1 set which contains 1 ABS and 1 TRICEP exercise then rest 30-40 sec untill i go to the 3d and 4th and then after dat i rest 30-40 sec and then i do the last set?

  • Oh boy. This + situps to failure time to time = /flex to women :D

  • How often should this be done? Everyday? Every other day?

  • Comment removed

  • you the homie keep doing what you're doing my friend you've up'd my game sooo much. I

    appreciate it friend, respect

  • So do we take a break between each pair?

Are all 3 pairs of exercises 1 set? just a super set with no breaks in between the pairs?

What does he mean by super set?

  • worse 6 packs i have ever seen.

  • @MaNiAkOsMeZN Do this workout one time a week :) the other days do different workouts like shoulders, chest, back, stomach, etc. Each one one time a week. Hope that helps :)

  • @MaNiAkOsMeZN You can do this exercise every two days or even every day, however u should keep in mind that it is like with every exercise, after time the body gets used to the work and muscles wont build up that fast anymore by this particular exercise thats why you should vary ur exercises. You have to surprise/shock ur muscles to get them growing fast, when ur muscles are not sore at the next morning they start to get used to the exercise. Thats at least what i figured out.

  • @Genie54100 i have heard that muscle confusion is bad from my friend that is pretty fit .. is this true?

  • @megabassmaster1997 No the opposite is actually the case. Due to the fact that you vary your exercises, you will maximise your performance, reduce the likelihood of overtraining and your long term performance will definetely be positively effected. The training muscle confusion or also called periodization is used by athletes since many years because it builds up a greater range of muscles and the long term performance will be better aswell. Hope that helped.

  • @MaNiAkOsMeZN Once every two days should be good, as one day of rest is what I consider a necessity.

  • don't believe in this bs...the before and after pictures are all fake. It's all built guys, and then they eat a lot. Try eating two pizzas and see how you look. so it's all bs the before and after are as real as obama's word! lmao

  • @suprattkk You're a moron in every degree. 'As real as obama's word'? Do you think you're clever making a stupid political joke you can't back up with concrete evidence? You're an idiot.

  • @OrginalCookieMonster I'm a moron for stating facts? There was a story done on this last week on yahoo....all these before and after shots are fake! the before is done after the guy eats a lot of junk food, and the after is done after he works out, gets good blood flow, and takes the pictures on an empty stomach. I can do exactly the same thing because I'm a runner. Are you jealous you bought his shit? well life is a bitch, and you still die a moron. I can't even educated all you dip shits!

  • @suprattkk no one's to bothered about the whole six pack shortcut thing bro, we come here for great routines, and this guy provides us with them.

  • @suprattkk i agree with JimmiePbwood, i dont care much about the "shortcut" this guy has Great routines and shows great tips, and awesome dieting tips. nothing "moronic" about any of that.

  • @suprattkk Oh Yahoo did a story on it!? I should of realised Yahoo was a gospel of truth and justice! Even if that is true it doesn't take away that these are good exercises and it's a professional fitness regime. I didn't buy anything, I was just looking for some fresh work-outs for my arms but it makes me sick seeing stupid, politically backward people like you try to sabotage this because they're desperate to try and take hope away from people.

  • @OrginalCookieMonster "politically backward"? You do know that idiots voted for him right? I mean he's a ni***er with a college education so he's going to lift american from depression right? gtfo here the only people who sucked this country down the drain are democraps like you who think that "change" is giving thugs an education, healthcare to illegals, and giving a chance to people who cannot read a book! he's a fucking socialist moron who reads a teleprompter in order to sound intelligent.

  • So how often should we do this workout? :)

  • He's ripped but his abs could be more defined

  • till failure means until i cant do it anymore ??

  • @Sisaleet Yes

  • @Sisaleet yes

  • i did

  • the close grip push up example he gave is good since he went fast while maintaining good form. the faster u go the more weight ur arms experience.

  • @unceasingforce Wrong. For explosive power, yes. For size gain, no. Your muscles grow as they get more torn... They tear as they're put under tension. With faster push ups they get more tension but less time... with slow, they're under tension for longer, giving a net benefit to doing it slow...

  • @TheDanPerkins yeah i see what you mean. when i bench press i go slow when i do heavier weight, but when i do lightweight i go faster while still focusing on form of course. for me that compensates for the difference in weight.i read an article on yahoo by a professional sports trainer. he claimed faster pushups would compensate for the lack of weight. still, i agree that going slow will tear more muscle, but for pushups the weight is too light to tear muscle in a reasonable time span.

  • @unceasingforce Do 30 push ups on a 3 sec down, 2 sec hold, 3 sec up.... the next day, do 40 super quick ones. Tell me what's easier, maintaining good form.

I can guarantee those slow ones will kill your muscles

  • @TheDanPerkins the 30 push ups would be harder. i can do 88 fast. i can only do 58 slow. the 30 push ups would take me much longer than the 88, however.

  • @unceasingforce The 88 push ups you'd loose a lot of form, no matter how hard you focussed. You'd get better all around tear, and less tendon damage (which you'll get from jerking with fast ones) by doing slow ones. Trust me, I genuinely say it in your best interest

  • @TheDanPerkins bullshit jerking isn't tearing your tendons, you just have to be really warmed up which most people aren't when they start their mediocre weight programs, fast twitch fibers are definitely not impressed by slow motion movements and 15 seconds of your standard exercise tension endurance

  • @MutsuKazuma watch?v=S990kHLMVFg 2:20 , if you wont take it from me, take it from someone more knowledgeable. I quote, "Here's another thing too avoid; bouncy, jerky motions... the way they're doing them is not only not doing their joints any good, but it's also putting their joints at risk, 'cause they're doing them so jerkilly... You'll most likely get injured if you do those."

  • @TheDanPerkins have you ever done clean and jerks? or any other explosive exercise for fast twitch, there isn't just body building "strength training" out there, and body building isn't real strength training to begin with and every real bodybuilder admits that

  • @MutsuKazuma I know bodybuilding isn't strength training. But similar principles apply (albeit there's a lot of different ones)

Clean and Jerks you do how many reps? 5 to 7?

Fast push ups? You did 88?

Yes you use a heavier weight for the clean and jerk, but the sheer quantity for the push ups...

Also this is a Bodybuilding video for one, not a strength training video... and he was saying fast push ups are good for body building...

  • @unceasingforce that's probably using a lot of momentum then

  • you are the biggest Asian i have ever seen well done nice body

  • @brid4money but asians never fail...

  • is there any exercise that you could incorporate into that to build up big forearms aswell, or is that too much for one workout?

    someone plz reply

  • i have the same lamp as you!

  • its normally like 8 reps , why till failure instead?

  • @TheiTouchGuys To get the muscle pumped til max,if you want to see improvements,That's the whole point of doing exercises. If you do like 10 reps of each set..where's the deal? :)

  • Ur the most helpful person i ever know/find on youtube! n real life!!!

  • what's mike change six pack MONEY CUTS

  • for the dips shouldn't your feet be up on something? like, straight legs?

  • @sixpackshortcuts I'm doing three different workouts for my arms (there all your workouts) every other day. They are good workouts, however, if I keep doing them over, and over, will my muscles get used to them, and not grow anymore? Aka, muscle memory. If so, what can I do to avoid this?

  • Yall guys...

  • kongas!!

  • hardest freakin workout i did in a looong time! good stuff!

  • very good workout

  • what the fuck is up with his shin???

  • @RNC92300 Thats exactly what I was thinking! :O

  • @RNC92300 chin? He has hair on it :s

  • Good work out

  • haha yall guys

  • Is it good to do this 4 times a week? With a day of rest inbetween?

  • @sullustanmel depends on how you workout. but generally you want to give your muscles at least 48 hours to recover. so most people tend to rotate on different muscle groups to meet such requirement. but that's just my 2 cents worth.

  • @leredsock Okay. Thank you!

  • how many sets do we do this excercise.

  • You need to stop working out your arms and start working on your lats, and pecs, you have really small pecs and big arms, makes you look weird :L

  • 66 people are lazy

  • i want my gf to practice that dip exercise!

  • what size dumbells do you normally use in the gym?

  • Dude wtf happened to your right leg?

  • if you do it too often your muscles will get used to that exercise, and you will have to add more weight to get results, this would result in injury, and so you do cycles so that your muscles aren't like, "okay another arm exercise like yesterday, and the day before that...........

  • Why are your adverts all over the internet?

  • @TheSandeteranians cuz to help the internet people who is fat asses and addict to internet like you

  • @TheSalihsalloum Ahahahahahahahahah Your funny. I dig the sarcasm.

  • @nosfab90 Dude hes showing it on Youtube = Free. As for his workouts they are for beginners. Dont be a hater.

  • or u can just have ex for the dips...

  • You fucking tank!

  • My god and you sell all this shit?! maybe idiot beginners buy this useless stuff... you are a shit stupid china! what kind of pushup you do? what kind of dips you do? fast like a train whit little range of motion on the sofa! don't follow this IDIOT , don't buy this SHIT , take a look on SCOOBY FOR FREE!!!!!!

  • wait...so when you do all 6 excercises thats one set?? or do we do 3 sets of each superset?

  • Im 13... can i start doing this and if i can how many KG? plz answer someone!!

  • @ReLiCue wow...fat fuck. "can i start if im 13??" drop the cheeseburger and get on the treadmill.

  • @NickC5000 Why on earth would you assume that he's fat? And why would you be so horrifically offensive about it? Either you've just made an assumption that he's fat in which case you need to think before being an idiot, or you've misread his comment and decided to abuse someone for no reason. Either way, don't be such an idiot.

  • i was like oh yeah i can do this, BUT NOOO he makes it look so much easier -.-

  • @Tadixlife thx too

  • How often do you have to do this execise to get results? Like 1-3 times a day every day or just once per day? Great video!

  • @Kaftarn once-twice a week.MAXIMUM.E.g=>Monday This workout and Wednesday This Workout.

  • @ArisHDi Why twice a week maximum? I wanna do it more often to get faster result.

  • @Kaftarn it doesn't work like that you pleb

  • @Kaftarn twice a week is the limit iof you go over that its over trainning, you cant work a muscle all the time. When you work out a muscle you injure it and it needs recovery. So if you are a teen ager you can do it twice a week if you are 23 and over then you have to do it once a week. The key is to do the exercise with intensity.Lift as heavy as you can.Btw you can do this exercise for ever because your muscles remember the exercise that you have done before and they will stop growing.

  • @Kaftarn the more times you do it[up to 2 times a week] the less results you will have.

  • @ArisHDi ok ty

  • @Kaftarn did u get a reply on that question?

  • @Kaftarn You're not supposed to work the same muscle group everyday, you need to do them every other day so they have to rest and repair, which is when they grow. Like do your back and shoulder today, then biceps and triceps tomorrow

  • @Kaftarn more like 2 times a week

  • @Kaftarn do it as much as you like. i normally do a workout with 5 different excercises for 4 sets of ten whenever i feel like everyday.

  • @Kaftarn im not a professional but my dads been working out for 23 years and he has the same build as mike. Its been proven that after 45minutes of lifting your really not doing anything but tearing muscle. So for these you would only do once a day combined with maybe an ab workout and some cardio

  • @Pyrotoxic92 Ripping muscle is where you build muscle. Working out is the stimulus, you build as you repair... You repair best when you have good nutrition and amounts of sleep.

    Stop talking bogus.

If it rips your MUSCLES lots, it's a good exercise. If it strains your tendons or ligaments, not so much.

  • @TheDanPerkins Ya your right tearing is good but there is also a point where you have torn them to much! and you said so your self you need rest. I never said RIPPING your muscles was bad. what i said was doing the same exercise 3times in a day because then your not giving your body enough time to heal, or repair.

-.- dumbass not understanding simple comments

  • can i 14 year old Lift weights pls someone answer

  • @imdantheman32 yes, you can

  • @arnoldastoliusis Thx for the help, i was scared that it wouldnt grow properly

  • @imdantheman32 Yes if not heavy. To be sure that your body grows properly and you dont damage your muscles it is recommended that heavy weight lifts are made after age of 16.

  • @mazitottat Ok ill make sure i use light ones

  • @mazitottat oh one more thing should i do till failure like mike says or do s a certain amount?

  • can we lift weights if we are 14 years old??

  • @imdantheman32 yes u can, i started at 13 :)

  • Biggest fucking asian Ever
