Hey branford313 - sorry for the late reply. Yes, the strings in structure can sound pretty real especially if you add the east west orch library for structure. I also have Hollywood strings and they sound great. Honestly, there's no 1 library that does it all just like a single keyboard isn't enough. Structure is a great start.

Yes - structure is a software Instrument (VI) for Pro Tools.

@bcvideoprod thx, and are those cello and viola parts he was playing, automatically in structure? right now i am only using a keyboard/synthesizer that has digital versions of instruments, and it is driving me crazy how fake the sounds are. would the virtual instruments in structure give me somewhat of a professional sounding string section? I recently heard of a software plug-in called Hollywood Strings but that is way too expensive, so structure seems like it would really help me.

hi, does pro tools HD 8 required hardware to run? there is a version called Digidesign Pro Tools MP HD 8.0.3 CS2 i heard of that doesnt required hardware.
