This is a very difficult song. Teen Town was written by Jaco as bass feature in that the bass is playing almost all of the melody. Callum you do a remarkable job. Not perfect but so what? Nice job all the way around. Any Weather Report fans will appreciate this. For you nay-sayers please take your brain out for a walk once in a while..
i have just come across your vid and read some of the brainless comments from people who obviously know nothing about playing bass, including your '16th note run'pal undrerneath ive been playing bass for many years&have played with some well known british artist. i was very impressed and moreso because you were only17 keep up the good work and keep listening to the masters. i am old enough to remember when Jaco came on the scene he was criticised by some musicians &mags for being 'too busy'
He should've learned the correct notes on the three-16th note run at :28, :58, and 1:05, among other missing nuances. I'd give him about a C+ at the most.
I really don't get all of these "he's only 17, cut him some slack" comments. Bad is bad, no matter how old you are. If he wanted represent himself like this, he probably should have gotten in a few extra hours of practice.

the band is so... enthusiastic and full of life? Nicely played though. Personly, I would prefer a bit less soloing, it gets a little bit too stressy, if Jaco was happy with the song, there is no use of making it even more complex. Thats my opinion though ;)
