Perfect voice... but I have to say I prefer Angela Gheorghiu's version, in my opinion Gheorghiu's voice is warmer, colorfull and more intense than Callas'

@The1620 Possibly you are a Callas' fan, ok! for many people the best of all times, she had an impressive and powerful voice, possibly the most powerful ever... but the color of her voice simply don't like me, I like warmers and expressive. May be you can see better what I say when you hear Casta Diva by Gheorghiu and then Callas. Gheoghiu literally makes me cry... but Calla is a little inflexible and colder, compare both singers in the fast scales... matter of personal taste I guess. Regards

@Ray0X0 I've just listened to Gheorghiu again, and - indeed - it is glorious. But this is one area where I want the pain - the ache -plus a bit of revenge implied! Callas does this for me wonderfully. And, of course, I remember that she was the first I heard to be so tormented .....Aren't we lucky that there are so many fine artists giving us their interpretations to enjoy ? Where would we be in this world, now, without music ? I'm so grateful but I know may people haven't this yet.

@Ray0X0 no, they are both small voices. Gheorgiu's is even smaller and totally without character. Listen to Ofelia Hristova's rendition of this aria, or some other true dramatic soprano. I have no clue why nowadays lyric sopranos think they can sing whatever they want.
