  • Got any more for sale?

  • Regarding docking - It hurts the puppies more than it would an adult, there's no guarantee than the entire litter would become gundogs, Setters with similar coats and work are NOT docked, 99.95% of dogs, undocked, would still have injury-free tails with the chances of getting an amputation-worthy injury miniscule. It cosmetic, no two ways about it - otherwise we'd be docking the tails of all dogs that work, but we don't.

3 were born with short tail and 2 didnt so we left it that was

PS their dad was a german shepard!!!

    they were wounderfull

  • How could you dock them. That's evil.

  • Docking - total ban in Scotland 30th Apr, 07. Eng 6th April, Wales 30th April, with exemption of working dogs. Procedure must be carried out by a vet, on puppies under 5 days old, with a declaration from owners they will be working dogs, (in specified areas). Owner and vet must sign one each and vet must see evidence - eg owners shotgun licence. Animal Welfare Act 2006. Anyone guilty of an offence liable on summary conviction to Maximum 51 wks in jail and/or £20,000 fine.

  • @morskaj

Eloquently put, also anyone who says they are docking thier dogs tail to stop it getting caught or damged is either seriously incompetent, or just lying as it's more commonly just to stop them whipping your legs and undergrwoth with thier fantastically incessant wagging, Farmer and Gamekeepers son, worked on them for more than 20 years docking is utter bull and unnescesary, how about I dock Your tail?

  • Those who seek to justify the docking of dogs tails do so using hunting as an excuse for doing such a thing. It does not surprize me that a person who hunts, would use this type of sport, (looked on as barbaric by some), as an excuse to mutilate a dog.

  • You are probably the same kind of person who thinks circumcision, is mutilating a boy.

  • Absolutely!! And proud to say so. It amazes me what barbarism people will perform in the name of religion.

  • Ok cool, I am glad I have confirmed my perceptions. Let me take it a step further, are you a vegetarian as well?

  • God no!! Had chicken for dinner today, lasagne yesterday and my lads love my home-made, puff-pastry topped steak pie. Before you ask, yes I eat fish, I tasted quorn for the first time a few days ago - not bad - and I would perhaps ear less meat for health reasons. I don't agree with bullfighting or stabbing donkeys to death with sharpened sticks or any of the other barbaric ceremonies they have in Spain. I also object to the way the chinese treat animals. Anything else you want to know?

  • she like 'Gimme a break kids'

  • unless you have a springer with a full tail you wont understand, i have one springer with a docked tail and one with, the one with suffers real bad, he goes in bushes and its forever getting cut to pieces were he wags it while hunting, id rather them have 2 minutes of pain at birth which they wont remember than a lifetime of cuts, blood and pain

  • they are always so happy that their tails tend to break easily and that why they are docked not all dogs with long tails breack them but we were tild english springer spaniels got their tails docked because if they break it more than three times it would get docked any way and it would be more painful than when as a puppy

  • Adorable but I hate to see dogs with their tails docked. God gave them tails not stubs.

You can tell so much from a dog by it's tail, like if it's ill or afraid. plus they look so much more appealing left as nature intended!

  • I absolutely agree with you. My dog Tess had a long tail and it was great to see it wag! She was put to sleep on 4-1-10 due to kidney failure and yes, I'm still weepy. To the people who approve of 'docking' - in the UK it is no longer allowed - even by vets - unless there is a real medical necessity. That would not be the case if docking were good for a dog.

  • @morskaj THIS IS WRONG!! You are 100% allowed to dock dogs tails ASLONG as its not for just what it looks like. So if you hunt with your dogs a vet can do it easily. Its also MUCH better than having the dog split its tail when hunting and having it amputated at 6 month or so!! Some people think there doing good and the poor dog ends up worse off :(

  • @Bigthug90 in scotland you can't. It's illegal.

  • That's very sad. It's always devastating to lose any dog and springer's have such happy, sweet natures.

  • @morskaj Docking is allowed except for purely cosmetic reasons. Working dogs get docked because its far safer and better for the dog than to have their tail split or continually ripped to pieces by gorse/brambles etc.

If you think that working dogs should not be docked, you're actually supporting a lifetime of pain and infections for the dog. You sicko.

  • @morskaj I'm sorry about Tess. I miss Bonnie. She loved me very much when I was younger. I used to play with her and she used to hunt live animals like birds, ducks and other creatures in nature. She died of old age when I was 6. Her body was cremated.

  • @mermaidamp woah. You had a springer called Bonnie?

I have a black and white field type puppy named Bonnie :)

  • @NovainAway Yes,I did. She loved me very much. I still miss her.

  • I can't imagine 13 pups. Our springer, Bailey, was one of eleven and they all ate out of the same dish at once and decended on the next one like a pack of locusts!!

  • DAWM! poor moma, i bet she was HUGE!!

  • wow 13 that must be hard especially when they got a bit older and start investigating

i'm getting a springer spaniel puppy in novemebr we are calling him Dexter he's liver and white like these ones

  • lovely dogs

reminds me of ours when we had springer spaniel puppies except we only had a litter of 4 and we kept one of the girls

  • Its (quite rightly) illegal to have dogs docked in England now. I love Springers, I have two.

  • I believe the docked tail is only the American Kennel Club breed standard... and although it's preferred, a non-docked tail is not considered a disqualification. I think the non-docked tail is more popular in other countries. Personally, I think they look cuter with long tails... like their cousins the English Setter.

  • I have a springer spaniel. The pups are sooooo cute! Wow and 13 of them, cute!

  • FEED ME SEYMOUR

    FEEEEEEED MEE

  • We have an English Springer Spaniel, around 5 years old now. They are smart, loyal, energetic dogs, and they're sooo much fun. A little on the attention whore side, but they're such great dogs.

  • These dogs are amazing, loyal, obedient and all round great.

I got a pedigree English springer (toby lol) he is 3 years old and immense on all levels

  • "FEED ME! FEED ME!"

    "Noooo you've had enough today!"

  • A room full of joy!!!!

    love it!

  • why do people still cut off there tails thier tails look lovely ?!

  • no they dont at all, and its because they normally shred their tails to bits in brambles and thorns , ignoramus

  • ur a gay twat

  • spot on the mark, people moan about the tails, id rather them have 2 minutes of pain in which they wont remember than a lifetime of cuts and pain, i know exactly were your coming from

  • Because they are probably working dogs, this is usually done in the first day or two, if it is not done now, the dogs work in heavy cover and this damages their tails later in life causing alot of suffering then the vet has to doc it anyways, so much more humane this way!!

  • people cut them off & called docking. mine got his docked.

they are athletic so when they run they dont trip over it.

they get long when not docked.

  • OMG THEY R THE SWEETEST THING . this breed is such a loving and sweet 1 . They r very loyal and friendly .

  • 13. wow, shes done well. soo cute. bet you cant wait till they start being pains in the bum lol bless, have fun with them xx

  • WE always raise them! :D

they are always soo cutee! and that makes them hard to let go ):

  • im sad because i had a dog like that but my dumb uncle let her run away

  • aaww.. srry to hear that

  • Poor momma. A beautiful litter! Enjoy!!!!!

  • How cute. That would so win as the most awesome pets.

  • Wow so mandy pupps. I luv springers. I have one lol. He's asleep now. hehe

  • Good thing for her it wasn't 101 spaniels! I love them! Glad to have my own Spaniel. They are a veeeeery loyal and loving breed. Truely man's best and cutest friend!

  • omg they are the cutest thing ever!

i am getting a miniture springer spainel puppy 8 weeks old and is liver and brown!!! cant wait till i get it!!! :D

  • They are so cute!!! :)))

  • And ALL things that are beautiful and good are designed and created by our Heavenly Father. PRAISE ALMIGHTY GOD !!!!!

  • we had 8 gorgeous little springer pups a year ago, and we kept one!! I'd love to do it again!

  • Mum saw refuge in the sofa. That will only last another week or so. Such a nice video and wonderful dogs (poor mum though). Thanks

  • lol

  • Wow they must have made a lot of mess!

  • hahahahaah i ber the mom is thinking she cant handle the stress of being a mother so she ran away ahahahahaahahahahaahaha lol

  • I have one springer spaniel! the are soooo cute!! :P

  • i luv these dogs

  • Sad to see them all docked...

  • yes its just pointles and cruel...

  • its not cruel, some vets still carry out dockining tails, because when they are flushing out rabbits ect, they wag there tails and cut them on the brambles, so its safer an better for them to be docked,

  • Its Not Sad, Cruel Or Pointless! Springers Are Gun Dogs, Its So When They're Chasing Birds Etc Through Trees And Bushes They Dont Hurt Their Tails If They Get Caught On Branches Or Thorns. x

  • true, i have 2 springers and they go hunting with my bird of prey an flush out the rabbits,

  • Our springer has been an excellent gun dog for the last 11 years. He doesn't have a docked tail and I have never seen a cut or a scratch on it. He goes through some pretty nasty cover looking for pheasants, and except for us having to comb and pull the pickers from his tail, his tail is no worse for wear. I don't find it cruel, but I think a full tail makes the dog look a lot better. Overall I would say pointless would be the only one of those adjectives I would apply.

  • My dogs da died from a thorn.

Worse treatable injury my dog got when he was alive was cutting his tendons in the back left leg either done by barbwire or glass, cos I wasn't able to watch him all the time due to his disappearance acts into hedges that was close to a river.

  • @yellow2794 Our collie, with his long feathery tail, never split it once and he love charging through thorny undergrowth. If the mother is a show-line dog there's even LESS reason for docking. Here in Scotland docking is completely banned unless there's a VERY good reason for it as it's deemed more cruel than useful. However, that said, this mother and her puppies look lovely and happy.

  • Great!

  • they are adorable!

  • They are gorgeous!!!!! 13 pups?! All from the one litter?!?! Poor mum!!! LOL

  • = my dream !

  • Those puppies are so cute!!!!!!!!!!

  • omg they are all black and white lol

  • No, there Liver and White, but its hard to tell ^_^

  • Awhh (L)

at the end second one of the puppies puts his paw up anothers bum :]

  • "It's milk we want! When do we want it? NOW"

  • I just tried to count them without noticing the title said how many there are.

  • too many dogs rofl they can be evil minions

  • What a beautiful litter of ADORABLE Springers! Makes me smile just to watch them. :-)

  • OMG that's sooo many puppy's! All from just one mama?? That's been heel then, no?

    Ultimate cutieness anyhow xD

  • Yes, all the puppies were from one mother. We just had a litter of 12 born Feb 18, 2008. Check out our website. Click on (more) from about this video to view our link.

  • WHAT CUTIIEEEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • all liver and white? omg i would DIE! i want to breed springers. but smaller springers! mine is a horse! hes 50 lbs! field, not bench, but has a bench coat. id love to breed liver and white bench springers.

  • they are gorgeous arhhh!

  • I have two I can't imagine Sierra having puppies....omg!

My female Sierra is 4 today (Dec 31!)

My male Echo will be 3 in 3 weeks!

  • beautiful...

WHY HAVE THEY HAD THEIR TAILS DOCKED!!!

if they wern't meant to have tails they wouldt be there!

    BUT THEY ARE!

    back to the point..

    utterly adorable =]

  • springers are hunting dogs, many of there owners dock their tails except we let our springer keep his lol

  • Gotta little troop there. Mom is running away for some "me" time behind that couch. Can't blame her a bit. Cracked me up.

  • why dock tails WHY!!

  • OMG THEY ARE AMAZING.

  • LOL THE DOG IS TOO YOUNG TO HUMP!!

  • The docked tails look horrible, is there a reason for doing that?

  • They used to do it partly to help prevent myosis.

  • I had a springer for 13 years. It died in 1999 and I still grieve that dog.

  • my springer is 12

  • They're such gentle, kind-spirited animals. I really, really, miss mine. But I did get 13 years with him and for that I am thankful. Sounds corny I know but it's true.

  • i feel you, we just put mine down a month ago, it was realy hard. they are the best dogs out of every breed.

  • I'm sorry to hear that. If you have kids go get another one, it will heal them.

  • i am the kid :'(

  • I am very sorry sharkey. How old was your friend? I know that Windsor had diabetes and was going blind, so we just decided that it would be better to stop his suffering. It was, in all sincerity the toughest thing I ever had to do. Windsor was my hunting partner as well. Did you hunt with your dog?

  • I grew up with lacey since i could talk, she was twelve or so, she had breast cancer, we put her down after she could barely walk. Hardest thing ever

  • Was she brown and white or black and white? Windsor was Black and white. I know you are going to think this strange but for the first two weeks after he left, I was inconsolable and I am past 40. It must be really hard to have grown up with her, and then watch her go. But I still get these really cool pictures in my mind of the fun I had with him. I think that really is the gift these dogs give, in the sense that they really are funny, and they are completely unconditional in their regard.

  • brown and white, and she had two heart shaped spots on her back. She had the most perfect coloring on her.

  • Are you thinking of getting another one?

  • yeah but not yet

  • I know it sounds trite but you will feel better in a while. I would get another spaniel in a minute but I am so wrapped up with job duties and stuff I couldn't properly care for it. How did the rest of the family take it? My wife was devastated but no where as near as I. I think the pup attaches to one person in the house more than others. Originally it was my son, then me. So you hang in there, and get yourself another pup when you feel ready. Brown and white with 2 heart shapes, pretty cool.

  • the rest of my faily took it alright. Lacey grew up with my sister diane, but then she moved out, and i was left with her. We went like 7 years as best friends, and i start crying when i think about it now

  • im gettig a english spaniel for hunting this month .we need the dog for pheasant hunting .the dog we have right now is a bischon i think is how you spell it and is a lap doggie and he old lol he is 10 and named leo

  • My spaniel is having pups soon i cant wait

  • I prefer to see the tails on too. Mine had her tail docked because the 'breeder' wanted to keep her options open for selling as a working dog. Out of 11 pups.........not one ended up working - what a waste of a tail!!!

  • gee........ their cute, I've got a spaniel myself & she's 8 & 1/2 years old. Mind you she still is hypo & hasn't grown a brain yet lol, But I love her with all my heart.

Now that video gives a whole new meaning to takeaway food

    :)

  • adorable

  • OMG!! How CUTE!

I had a wonderful English springer Spaniel, her name was Lucy. She came from a litter of 12, and this reminds me so much of when we came to get her, and saw all of her litter mates, and her mom and dad. Springers are WONDERUL DOGS!!! :-)

  • springers are so cool :)

  • Can any of you retards even pronounce English? because you sure as all Hell can't spell it very well.

    There = place.

I want to go over THERE.

    Their = Belonging to.

    I like their new car.

    They're = They are

They're going to the zoo tomorrow.

    It's spelt "Cruel", not crul.

    Idiot, not "idot"

I don't usually notice bad grammar but the four latest posts, by 4 different people I might add, were just retarded.

  • aw blesssss .. 13 tho there tails r like my dogs tails!

  • 13 puppies u idot, read the name of the video, and it's not crul to dock their tails, they're tails would be like whips

  • crul to dock there tails :(
