Just for the record!!! We did not record this or any other commercial at the request of any ad agency or any product. We did it as an exercise to do get into a studio and record meaningless fun songs. We did it for the fun of it only. Swear to God. Our producer thought it would be a good warm up, because the band had broken up.
@djtomfinn Holy crap! THE Tom Finn from Left Banke? Wow! I'm D/Ling Gonna Be a Storm from Amazon right now. Saw your band listed with Nick Drake and as an influence for the 1980s Dream Academy and have been reading up on you and yr friends' band. Your songs have been in my head for decades and I finally have a name to the band! Thank you for the great music. I'll be playing this to my kindergartener on the way to school tomorrow. Get another generation hooked. Thank you so much!
Sounds great like the real left Banke with Michael Brown. I wish he would come out of retirement and get playing. The world is waiting for his return.
OK, this jingle was never used by Coca Cola nor did Coca Cola ask us to do it. We did it because the guy who produced it, wanted us to all get back in the studio and work together again, so we all wrote a jingle just for the fun of it. Tom Finn - Left Banke
My Dad, Michael Brown, wrote this song for the Coca Cola company in 1967. It wasn't used as one of their ads.

Oh I forgot to say the guy who produced this is named Ralph Affoumado, a great musician and classical conductor.

Why wasn't this turned into a single, it's great! What a loss we took when this band failed to keep together.

Why is this not sampled more? Does Coke own it? LOL It's flawless.

Sounds like it could have been an outake from one of their old albums. Nice find...
