  • I really wish Diago uploaded more of his matches. There are so many more videos of him losing fights like this because he never uploads and very few players will upload a match where they lost.

  • how did he do the tatsumaki in 1:23?

  • I can't believe that heavy tatsu didn't hit tokido after he was done with the teleport around 00:59. That was bullshit.

  • ULTRA COMBO FINISH

  • @00Dreadnought Damn. What an ending . . .=)

  • hahah you actually can hit the demon with focus attack if its timed right

  • my god that was not daigo....it was his dick diego....lol....man daigo got 3 hands......

  • Love this Akuma player!

  • omg, that was the best finish. it couldnt have been better!

  • look at the screen shot at 1:50

  • and that is game in probably the finest fashion.

  • Lmao when these vids where posted, it was a given to me that i liked the videos, so i forgot to actually click the like button :P

  • Its hard enough to land a demon. Even harder to land it at a pro level. But landing it on Daigo...well done.

  • HOOOOOOLY FUUUUUCK!!! HE JUST LANDED RAGING DEMON ON DIAGO!!! O_O

THAT!!!!! THAT RIGHT THERE WAS THE GREATEST FUUCKING WIN EVVVVVERRRR!!!!!! xDDD

  • Damn Tokido is playing really well in these matches

  • So Daigo is human....

  • Daigo played alright but Tokido was just on fire. Love that sweep ---> raging demon bait. =)

  • i love that sweep -> raging demon bait, been using it and works most the time but dont spam it in a match use it where it counts.

  • .........wow,

  • Hey does anyone know if :59 was an option select or just a good read by daigo? I came here to watch some akuma play so I don't really know about ryu. Also I like how after Tokido gets his demon he inputs like 50 other buttons out of excitement even though he's already won haha.

  • Everytime Tokido finishes with a raging demon, I expect a shadow of him to appear across the screen with his back facing me.

  • 63 to 37, man, I thought they'd be closer in win/lose ratio. Great vids man. As I'm a starting Akuma player these vids are awesome to see how far Akuma can go. They are also just plain entertaining. A quick question if you don't mind, did Tokido ever reach Grandmaster? I saw him reach masters but wasn't sure.

  • tokido's timing with U1 is just fucking unbelievable lol

  • Tokido will upload a video and be sure to win the Umehara.

This mutch is a game in 100 games.

    Finally, these resulted in Umehara : Tokido = 63 : 37

  • Tokido ftw.

  • 0:33 TALK TO THE HAND. Awesome bait.

  • 1:40-1:44.. you serious!? crouch lk!

  • just a curiosity, why doesnt tokido do untechable knockdowns for mixups instead of doing the full dp dmg? Is it because daigo knows the knockdown mixup so well that he's afraid to do it?

  • @mikoal ... Because you can't do a sweep after tatsu on ryu, it doesn't work....it also doesn't work on ken, dudley, makoto, ibuki, blanka, bison, abel, rufus, gen, or juri...it works on everyone esle though.

  • @0ShinAkuma0 wow dont i feel like a noob. I'm not an Akuma user but are you serious, it doesnt work on the generic hit boxes of a shoto?

Like is it harder to time, or just pure impossible?

  • @mikoal ... it's pure impossible to do on them, but like i said, it works fine on all others, and some are way easier than others, for instance to do the sweep after tatsu on dhalsim is so easy, you don't even need to plink the heavy kick, next easiest is balrog.....vega, viper, rose, akuma and sagat are pretty easy to do it on too, but require plinking, some characters require special timing to do it, like on el fuerte and seth.

  • @0ShinAkuma0 thanks for the info shin, i'll give this a try at home later.

  • @0ShinAkuma0 just curious i only have street fighter 4 pc, why would anyone want to do the sweep, shouldn't the dp do more damage?

  • @x3azn4 by doing the sweep instead of the DP you get an untechable knockdown.. and it allows you to have mixup oppurtunities... and leaves your opponent guessing on what he should do on his wake up ... akuma is a very scary character when he gets his opponent on the ground... he has soo many options... if he were to DP instead of sweep his opponent has the choice of doing a quick wake up..and that would limit your mix up chances... and yes the dp does more damage.

  • @aglive07 thx for the tip just out of curiousity how do u do quick wake up. i haven't touch this game for a while. and what other options u have? i know the demon sky shit is sick, but perhaps there's other options? and another question, if I ultra at close range, does that guarantee a landing?

  • @x3azn4 to do a quick wake up , rite as your hitting the ground or a split second before just press down and you will pop rite back up ... if you do it rite you will see the word technical pop up on the screen...if you ultra at close range your opponent can still jump away.. akumas ultra is good as an anti air as well...if you really want to learn about akumas mix ups and demon set ups ... go to the search bar and type in Lord of Ultima he will teach you everything you need to know

  • @aglive07 I do have another question, I have SF4 for PC, and I think there's a difference between the PC and console since that on PC akuma can't tatsu sweep or down LP LP, tatsu on PC.

  • @x3azn4 : I play PC too and it can be done. You just gotta practice. Your timing is off. Try plinking.

  • @djfujiyama yeah thx i noticed, it's just weird how one punch tatsu and two punch tatsu has such huge difference in the tatsu's input timing.

  • @x3azn4: It's because the inputs look like this: "cr.lp, cr.lp xx lk.tatsu" where the "xx" means cancelling and the comma means you're linking the jabs. Linking requires a slight delay whereas cancelling is pretty much just mashing. You can mash as many jabs as you want provided you're close enough and you can link the last jab with the jab-cancel-tatsu. Look for lordofultima's (excellent) video on hit confirming for more details.

  • @0ShinAkuma0 in video 1 of 2 end of the final round he did land a sweep after a tatsu!!

  • @theh2oo .... that's a cross-up tatsu, you can sweep EVERYBODY after a cross-up tatsu, i'm talking about akuma's BnB combo, regular light tatsu....it doesn't work on the characters i mentioned. :-)

  • @0ShinAkuma0 oh my bad...Thanx for the info ;)

  • @0ShinAkuma0 Omg. That's why I was never able to do it ... In practice mode I was always practicing against Ryu =.= Thank you soo much by telling this XD

  • @0ShinAkuma0 weird, why does it not work on ryu and ken but it works on akuma and dan?

  • Tokido won by 63? Daigo only 37? I know tokido is a beast, but last 3 matches Daigo did lose all 3

  • @Dpacpro got it mixed up, tokido won 37, Daigo won 63

  • @ogredanhibiki

    ok thanx

  • He lost.. That cant be Daigo :)

  • wow what a great set of rapings! wow and i thought daigo was the best...but always remember akuma > everyone :)

  • Wow... Daigo played it smart too... but Tokido just had too much on him... GGS!

  • This wasn't daigo, it was him friend.

  • @vertoxz123 It wasn't his friend. It was his uncle.

  • @rastapreto sai preto!

  • Dayumn! I wonder if Daigo throws his stick in nerdrage while at home.

  • TWO WORDs>......DAIGOS FRIEND

  • 63-37?

shit, these guys fingers probably have created new muscles by now.

  • I love the ending !!! So sweet !!! Fck Daigo :D

  • @0ShinAkuma0 They played for more than 5 hours. I don't think it takes that long to play 16 games. I can send you a link to mirrored footage if you want, or you could just hit up the thread about it on SRK, they're saying it was 63-37 Daigo.

  • @sf4pro ... hmmm, i only saw the two hour video that eventhubs talked about...two hours sounds about right for about 16 games, but it probably was 63 - 37, geez that's a lot of freaking games!! lmao. :)

  • @0ShinAkuma0 sorry for the misinfo. I try to keep tabs on things but the godsgarden crew started doing spontaneous streams on nico nico video instead of ustream so its hard to keep track and the new site has a limit on how many members can watch the stream.

  • @0ShinAkuma0 link it please

  • @sf4pro

send me the link as well, i wanna see the matches or the thread , thanks

  • Epic match. It had everything.

Btw I noticed at the end of round 1, Daigo was looking for the throw techs by hitting LK, LP and MP together. Is there a strategicly good reason for that?

  • @MichaelJ9999 im pretty sure its p linking (or plinking), if you have a stick its worth you checking youtube tutorials, for this particular instance it increases your chances of teching a throw by an extra frame. There are a few variations of plinking, the one you see Daigo using is double tapping.

  • @Rooney8MUFC

Ah, P-linking a throw tech! that's a nice idea. That tactic never crossed my mind.

  • @0ShinAkuma0 was the score 63-37 or 10-6???im confused

  • has tokido surpassed daigo?

  • lol. i like the 4-5 seconds of silence after Akuma's finish.

"here lies daigo's Ryu.. in an epic defeat. let's have a moment of silence please."

  • @Skriptz23 ROFL!

  • Naa that was diago Playing !! i believe , SHiT diago need to take that money he won from evo and make aa damn gamertag sheesh !! But he will beat tokido offline tho for sureeeee

  • @imONowFucxYOU false. the connection looked good to me no lag

  • @doodoostank Thats why Tokido didnt win evo 2010 this year :-) , who winn ? Diagoo But no duhh broo Its a replay you dont know if its lag or not : all im sayin is diago will beat the hell out him offline , #TrueFact

  • @imONowFucxYOU Who cares which Japanese player won evo2k10. The point is, a Japanese player won a American tourney on your own soil.

You can go back to sucking Daigo dick now.

  • @0pTicaL823 Lmao fuck yu bitch you wish you was good like him , ill beat you at SSF4 : so how about suck my dick

  • @imONowFucxYOU There's many other talented Japanese sf players, you're just too busy sucking Daigo dick to see past him. Suck harder will ya?

  • @imONowFucxYOU i won evo i am daigo and im tokido and im you and im blanka the actual blanka from street fighter dont contradict me of ill electrocute you. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

  • From my understanding, this was from a set that was streamed earlier today. Daigo won 63-37

  • @sf4pro Right, I watched the end portion of it, and Daigo preceded to smoke him. It was funny listening to Tokido rage over little stuff that shouldnt be happening (losing to standing jab on a jump in ROFL)

Almost felt bad for Tokido like Akuma just isn't viable against Daigo's Ryu

  • @sf4pro how could this be from a set when its a ranked match??

  • waiting for all the Daigo fan boys to run in and say it wasnt him playing, but his friend.

  • @snkjack Not to break your bubble but they played up to 10 matches today. Final score was Daigo 10- Tokido 6

some of them are available on the godsgarden ustream channel.

  • @SushiSyogun it dont matter... people seem to get mad when Daigo loses no matter.

  • @snkjack Of course it wasn't Daigo. It was his evil half-brother, Diego Umejuarez, who's only goal is to make Daigo look bad. I thought this was common knowledge.

  • @doodleboi jajajajajajajajajaj "Diego Umejuarez" that's supreme!!! I did not know this mexican brother of Daigo

  • @snkjack Your dumb that wasnt daigo dumbb ass

  • @SushiSyogun ok well the one avaiable on ustream covered up to 10 matches? anyhow it seems they did 101 matches

  • @snkjack Daigo fucks yo mom biatch

  • @snkjack

that wasn't daigo playin but his friend =-) hahaha.. this is daigo losing

  • @snkjack

Retarded comments like this make Daigo fanboy haters look even dumber.

  • @Fuidama I think Daigo is an excellent player actually.

  • @snkjack daigo cant lose , it was his lil bro

  • man i am tired of all the daigo fanboys geesus christ hes a great player but theyre are just as good players in the world and he is human he can lose and get destroyed just like everyone else,
