In the sequels however I think he did a really horrible job he seemed so emotionless which made him hard to care about. He also did a bad job in Bram Stokers Dracula largely because he couldn't pull off the accent at all!

He made for an amazing villain in Collateral, and is a pretty decent, convincing protagonist in Last Samurai, Mission Impossible or Minority Report. CERTAINLY on par with Keanu in the Matrix, and that's excluding the sequels where he mostly had less acting to do in the first place.

I don't see where Keanu's acting is that bad. I think it used to be bad but has gotten better over the years. Maybe he's taken lessons. He's alot better than that nitwit Tom Cruise. Yuck. Cruise is a talentless mush face who's not even interesting to watch. I've always loved men, but I never understood what women saw in him. He's not in the same galaxy with Keanu and Leo.

@alexandradeufemia Cruise is a great actor. I think he's a little nutty too, but I can look at his acting performances independent of that. Have you seen Vanilla Sky? That was an amazing performance. I think a lot of people didn't like that movie simply because they either didn't understand it, or because it was a remake of a foreign film. Remakes almost never get good reviews.
I don't understand why you call him a barely articulate half-wit. He may be crazy, but he seems rather intelligent.

Actually, Tom Cruise's pretty amazing to watch even when he epically and utterly fails as a human being (his infamous Scientology interview).
He made for an amazing villain in Collateral, and is a pretty decent, convincing protagonist in Last Samurai, Mission Impossible or Minority Report. CERTAINLY on par with Keanu in the Matrix, and that's excluding the sequels where he mostly had less acting to do in the first place.

@xPrivatFx I agree that he acts with his eyes well, I just don't think that his other facial features express his emotions as well. And the German language is a beautiful one. Many people cannot speak two languages with any amount of fluency.
