Odd to hear a John Denver song set to this. I always thought this was one of the most original and loveliest of anime. I know many people don't seem to like this series, the ending in particular, but I felt it was wonderful. I loved Rue--for a children's anime, it was great to see such a three-dimensional character. All of them were great characters. I loved the ending. It wasn't another fairy-tale cliche.
