This is a studio band most likely recorded in L.A. Definitely real musicians, and good ones. These guys played the session once and then rode it to the bank with residuals. Great T.V. show theme.

I have one question. Is there a real life band incoperated in this theme at all?? Even the trumpet solo at :049 to :056 sounds like someone is really playing a trumpet. Or is this all a synthesizer? Because if you look at the old shows with Ray Combs he sometimes would thank that "Family Feud Band" So which is it??
