The reason why is because Solid Snake does not wear any advanced gear until the 3rd game, Metal Gear Solid. The first two games, Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2, he simply wears BDUs.  This film is based on Metal Gear.

The reason why is because the rest of the Metal Gear games are more detailed, (if not, fully.) then the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2:Solid Snake. In the originals, there was less explained because of the technical set backs.

As for sending in the script, this would be an ideal choice, and I am supremely confident that it would yield a high-quality film. However, the chances of a studio executive picking an "amateur" script, no matter how interesting or well-written, are extremely slim. So why not create a high-quality, free release fan-film for all to enjoy?

I'm sorry to be so negative, but i can't see this going anywhere. But if you have a script, why not send it to a film studio somewhere and if they like it then it can get done properly. That's how films like Taxi Driver and Finding Nemo got made, people just sent them scripts and the film producers did the rest, so why dont you do that, doing it yourself i dont think will get you anywhere, i'm not saying this video is crap, or that the idea is crap, just open your options.

This is the start, when Snake is a rookie member of Foxhound, where his character is built. The film will convey the ideas to set up his well-known character in the Solid series (the third game).

Wrong fan film. It is MGS: Philanthropy (by Hive Division) that is soon to be released. Different storyline, different group. This one isn't bad, though; some improvement can be made in the framing of some of the shots, but not bad for being just a conceptual work-up. Keep this up.
