This is THE WORST commercial I have seen in a loooooooong time. Just plain BAD. I come away from watching this feeling NAUSEOUS and have absolutely NO CLUE what the phone is about, what it can do, or ANYTHING.

Whether you like Apple or the iPhone/iPad/iPod or not, in contrast THEY know how to make precise and TO THE POINT informative product commercials. They don't have to hide behind some fancy wannabe hippster bullshit imagery and nauseating camera nonsense!

Kinda worth it but not really, faster and better android phones are coming out later... the best things about this one are that it will recieve up dates first and will be guaranteed to rock android to its fullest abilty

@sonybutnownokia i got an update yesterday, and so did the nexus one. beings as my phone and the nexus one are almost exactly the same do you think they might be preparing for gingerbread on the nexus in america and gingerbread on the desire in europe. i dont mind loosing htc sense because gingerbread without a skin will be alot faster.

Of course they should but am not that sure about it, but as being logical in this case, all of the desires should get an upgrade, see desire got all the specifications that r desired by 2.3, so htc sense plus 2.3 should make some point, what ya think!

@sonybutnownokia im in mixed opinions, i dont really want sense that much. its good but it limits the phone in some repects. i imagine the high end htc phones will be in the line for the upgrade. with sense or without sense is the real question. the new sense has features that are very vital for the htc phones, like htcsense . com and so on

Then in my opinion you should go for HTC desire z, I would've choose it for sure, but right now I gotta use my current on, but soon I'll be jumpin on another, why desire z is because of its htc sense, its keyboard which really long lasting, and its keyboard got 3 shortcut button which will really matter after when U bring it in use, its a really good looking device, so r ya gonna sell your HTC Desire to jump on desire z

@sonybutnownokia in europe the desire z has sense so i wouldnt moove to it, its processor is not an improvement of the old snapdragonn unless overclocked. im more likely to go to samsung than the desire z. or go for the desire hd. i think my next phone needs to be a huge improvment of my desire, like dual core, super high res amoled screen. oh and very thin, so my next phone is about a year away or more. im more excited for the psp2 than anything else right now

Cool am on psp too, well get to the point, if one has to buy right now then I say HTC Desire HD strictly or according to ya ya wait and ya might go for sony X12, X10's successor, one super thing that I like sony is they got auto focus into the video app too, well its your desicion, am actually waiting for X12 if it got 1Gh but if not I'll jump on samsung or htc, lets see how it shows up in 2011, well then lets concentrate on psp then, that would be the best decision for now.

@sonybutnownokia the psp phone looks cool. but the rumoured psp 2 which should come out late next year is said to have half the power of the ps3 and to also be comparable to early ps3 games like heavenly sword

Google really had my my money for a new phone. The only thing they could possibly do to lose me as a customer was a) cooperate with plastic inc. aka Samsung or b) use an old generation processor.

And they did both.

phones gonna be insane stuck between this and psp phone depending on the final look of the psp phone. The Nexus is a sleek 4 inch device while the ps is huge with the slide out game controls detachability of the game controls would be a huge selling point.
