@kawknez what do you know about hip hop? not a damn thing. You're probably some dumb kid with skinny jeans. Or better yet some kid who thinks you have bitches and money like all these wack rappers. You don't understand hip hop. This isn't for the simple minded
Shit is like life.....just dont last forever...this was hiphop in its prime......and wat we witnessing nowadays is her old age....she is super novaing...a dying starr....just remember her past beauty and except her fate!!!!
Im from N.Y but Chicago is a melting pot of hip hop culture even now. for some reason chicago got left behind or they just forgot to be affect by commercial hip hop. go there its real its almost freakish. and they aint even trying to be Hip Hop they just are.
Yeah HIp Hip was always big here.Chicago overall is just a big music city more so than New York.We big on gospel, blues, jazz, house, and soul music. But i think it's cus our cities are so similar but Chicago is a city of haters due to all the gangbanging so Mc's have to go elsewhere to ge deals. But yeah we got love for N.Y. but i don't what happened out there ? The legends still doing it but the new bloods aren't doing it for me.I like Skyzoo though and Saigon.
common still dresses like that with the kango's and shit...but alot of people dont dress wioth bubble gooses knit hats and baggy slacks and lug boots..anymore wtf lol...that shit is og
What do you mean,Kid??? I still do till this very day. I love this form of B-Boy Hip-Hop. Hip-Hop should sound's like this everyday. Another crew who also showcased B-Boyness was Da Bush Babees.
This is the video shoot where the camera was stolen (with the film in it) by one of Common's South-Side homies. It was retrieved hours later after it cats realized it was hurting Comm and his shoot. Wild right...?!?!... haha ~ B.Kyle
yea, thats what i thought, cuz the 93 version(original version?) is the one on the CD... I forgot this version even existed, and then dude tagged it as 93...
This was the tune that made me take notice. Got to admit, Electric Circus was a bit strange, but still, can't effect his body of work. From 1989 to 1994 were the best time for HipHop.
who remembers the song off this album called watermelon. Somebody find it and put it on. It was one of his toughest (meaning good) songs of this album

hey, how come the lyrics on this version are different than the ones on the Album "Resurrection"?
OoThis1oO 4 years ago
Every Common album including Eletric Circus were classics and the best song on the Resurrection album was Nuthin'to Do.
