Varial flips are def not the ugliest trick. Pressure flips are the sloppiest ugliest trick. It still does the same motion as a varial, so you are still somewhat right on that, but if you can actually land a pressure flip, good job cause they aren't easy, you gotta do a wheel bite scooping motion with your back foot. Nate Sherwood is very good at doing variations of the pressure flip.
