I agree. Everyone I've known since the Chuckwagon Gang recorded this song (the first time I heard it) has called the song "Life's Evening Sun." It seems to be the logical title.
Regardless of the title, it's a nice song, and I've always liked the Chuckwagon Gang.
They recorded one of my uncle's songs, too. The title is "Heaven Is My Home." It's on YouTube. My uncle's name was Fred Swilling. He was a songwriter-publisher who lived in South Carolina. The Chuckwagon gang is from Texas.
What great memories of the Chuck Wagon Gang! Early 60's in concert in Long Beach CA and still have some of their vinyl albums. Gunny
