We've just submitted the 2nd release of the Endless Racing Game to Apple for reviewing. The new release should be available for downloading mid February, and it's still free. We added new levels, obstacles and enemies to make playing more fun.
Among others. We co-created the concept and the gameplay, the app was programmed by ScienceSoft. See credits in the game demo (click on a button at the end of the video).
Why don't you guys expand this? I can see this sell for .99 or more. Keep insurance ads but try to build something more like a free-roam car game around the city with random events? And whenever you crash you head to a garage where the insurance "pays" for it? You could also add Internet Multiplayer. This would attract swarms of people. You could even sell it for a bit more!
Thank you for sharing your ideas, PendoWolf. Actually, we show in this Next Level video how the endless gameplay can evolve. Each iPhone switch opens a new level with a new race track and new obstacles. If we get more money for game develoment, we'll implement it. We are also OK if somebody else would make their own endless racer for iPhones, based on our gameplay and peer-to-peer connectivity of iPhone.
cool and pointless and meant to sell more units LOL.
This would be fun for a few minutes with your friends though. Really cool how people are exploring the potential of these devices. I wish the same excitement was present in things like the touch pro 2.
I downloaded the game on iTunes from the link in the description. We played the game on two iPhones to see the car driving from iPhone to iPhone. But we haven't seen the plane, the limo and the racing cars. Is this the next version of the game?
Get the latest update of the Endless Racing Game for iPhone with:
- High Score registration,
- the Replay Level button if your car crashes,
- 5 new levels (they can be unlocked via a $0.99 in-app purchase),
- the Sound On/Off button allowing you to listen to your music while playing the game.

The game demo (click on the button at 1:30 to view) shows how the current version works. The Next Level shows how the game can/will work.

The soundtrack is by Drum Ecstasy - the best percussion act in Europe from Belarus!
denbrv 2 years ago
Yes, we used it with their permission (loved their performance in Amsterdam).

What is the name of the song by Drum Ecstasy?
Eptin 2 years ago
Akyka Twist from their album Heavy Dance Music. By the way, this music is played live by 3 drummers and a bass guitar.

How close the phones should be for the connection to work?
guys do you think you can make something similar to Medal of Honor to be played by two or more people using iPhones?
that would be great, and I am sure you will sell lots of copies of that, don't you think so?
thanks for the nice video and the nice game programming.
regards

iPhones use Bluetooth 2.1 to connect. The connection should work in the range up to 10 m.

vrijverzekerd seems to be a Dutch insurance company... that does explain a lot.

i see 6 iphones on screen, when the car is turning. and even if they reuse iphones. how can you make the gameplay so smooth?
superdario1000 2 years ago 6
Hehe, nice idea. Can you make the car go the other way or it only turns on crossroads?
goodtrip2u 2 years ago 2
Why would you want to drive back to the game start? In a racing game you are supposed to drive to the finish:-)
koezma 2 years ago
Well, could be nice to come back and drive over ducks a couple of times. But that's just me...
goodtrip2u 2 years ago
Man, you are so cruel! But if you hit a duck in the iPhone game, it's your car that crashes, the duck survives.
koezma 2 years ago 2
What a socially responsible and environmentally friendly application! I assume the plane and the limo are running on biofuel then? =)

You need just two iPhones to build an endless racing track. Click on the button at the end of the video to watch the game demo.
