I heard this in my Geography lesson yesterday. This song is great! It is quite an upbeat song which did not match the video we were shown. It was about all the destruction caused by a volcano eruption. Still a great song though :)

haha...when I was a kid, like in 3rd grade, I went through this phase where I was obsessed with volcanoes. I remember getting all these books at the library about volcanoes and trying to learn about them. My mom had a Jimmy Buffet CD at that time that she played in the car and of course this one was my favorite! lol.

Oh wow, until I read the lyrics I didn't realize how many references there were to current events in the song (it's from 1979) "don't want to land on 3 mile island", "don't want to land on no ayatollah". Pretty cool if you're a history geek. I wonder what he had against San Diego, and why?
