"look at all the natural materials they have used; the plant material, wood, stone, steel and glass". I hadn't realized that every single building I have ever laid eyes on was a green building. You seem pretty gullible throughout.
Thank God I saw this video. For a moment I was tempted in finding out more about the Aria until this informative video let me know that they buy into the environmental movement's bullshit. I'll be taking the advice of ex420er below and staying at the Wynn.
Hey this may be a green hotel and all, however i was not impressed! I still rather stay at Wynn or Pallazo. Aria condo's are nice and huge but i was expecting allot more than what i seen.
Environmentalism is a religion. As long as you're living as a human being you have a carbon footprint, because human beings, by nature are consumers. Carbon footprints are akin to sin, and environmentalism demands that you renounce human needs and values in favor of the environment which supposedly has some intrinsic value, that is to say that it possesses value detached from consiousness.
I dont know why but those hotels that dont have a really apparent theme to me just arent that appealing. I like the Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Palazzo and the Venetian.
it reminds me of the dome in Logans run, STALE. anyone over 30 has to carrosell and gets their ass zapped. anyone who knows anything about post consumer products, knows it's a scam played by businesses,. they can sell raw material to themselves and call it post consumer.
Yes, the casino is fun! And yes, while the place isn't perfect, I do think it's on its way to becoming a great casino. Oh yes, and Aria deserves major props in building a more sustainable hotel and getting more of Las Vegas to think sustainably.
also aria hotel was talkin about they dont have the money afford the casino porters that was all hired full time to stay full time when they slow business but tell me why they spend so much money for chinesse new years and super bowl party
part time they said that people who was hired full time would have scienority over the people that was hired part time now they actually putting the people who was hired full time and put to part time on the bottom of the part time list. another thing is that the director of housekeeping doesnt like the union. speaking of that aria is now past probation 3 monthes so now the hotel is union.
(part 1 of 3)aria a nice place to view and see but not to work, when we was first hired they promoised no layoffs no matter what and that people from other mgm properties wouldnt have scienority and that it starts at aria. many of us was hired full time and recently they put us on part time then the same day we was put on call they only call few people to work and the only people stayed full time was people from other mgm properties. they then told us that people who was hired full time and put
i mean, as a design/engineering concept, yeah, this place is stunning...but...i don't get jazzed about a vegas hotel because it saves energy and money for the owners...i want to know if THE CASINO IS FUN????
the baday uses H2O this is something that Las Vegas is short of and taxing to the regional aquifurs (underground water table) nothing to mention the Colorado river impact. To me it's less of an impact on the enviroment to use recycled paper than limited water resources, shame on them!
Stay at the Cosmopolitan and look at the Aria.
Aria has too much walking and really bad parking problems. High table minimums and the drink service on the casino floor was too damn slow.

You guys have to remember 99% of the full time workers are from older MGM casinos... so of course they would have higher seniority.

Thanks for posting this, Samuel. Love the master-switch idea. You'd have to be crazy not to stay here when in LV. Can't wait.
