also, out of curiosity, what do you mean by 'legitimate church service'? because if you mean a religious service given by a religious authority figure i've been to many. If you mean a christian service given by a christian authority figure, i've been to many. If you mean a specific sect of christianity i may or may not have.
This is a funny video the most consistent error made is that atheism is not a religion, it is a complete lack of religious belief (predominantly due to a lack of evidence). I could also point out the false assumptions that this video makes but I only have 500 characters. I'm really not sure what the worst thing about this video is, it could be the continuous and inaccurate reference to Atheism as a religion or it might be the terrible grammar and spelling errors.

Fact= you do not know what an atheist is. Fact= you choose not to know what an atheist is on account that i have seen in many comments where it is explained. Fact= atheists HAVE answered that illogical question. Fact= you choose not to listen. Fact= by portraying atheism wrongly in your videos it does stir up anger and irritation in atheist. The uploader's position seems to be that in order to be an "Atheist" ((Noun) "A person who does not believe in the existence of God or Gods [Oxford English dictionary]). One has to disprove the existence of god/s. This is wrong. As stated in the dictionary; one only has to not believe in the existence (With or without proof) Most rational people would agree that no one can prove or disprove god/s. Like fairies in the garden, but we don't say they exist just because it can't be disproved.

For me, atheism was the natural progression of my personal beliefs in the face of the Biblical inconsistencies I came across. But, that is by no means a "template" for other people. :-)

Atheism doesn't "progress" my beliefs, it gives me a sense of resolution towards my personal outlook on life. I would like to believe that part of the journey of life is to appreciate its value.

Atheism, like all other religions, is something that is mainly pressed upon us during our childhood. Nonreligious parents have a higher chance of nonreligious offspring. (and vise versa). I'm not saying that's 100% true, but in a majority of cases, it is. Also, as with all other religions, it's based on what the individual sees as the truth. What they would like to believe.
All religions are generally the same concept, there's an omniscient being watching us, be good.
@Farrugia2011 all religions could be put in the same category of "Be good and go to heaven" ...Buddhism is the same thing, "Be good" but Buddhism never speaks of a specific god.. the religion of Atheism I don't think fit's into that category since it's a special religion where the individual's own morals guide them through life...and Christianity is also an exception because you HAVE to believe in the God of the Bible... where as in Islam you don't need to worship Alla to go to heaven...

@TheYouSphere sorry, when I was making this video I was speed reading... plus I figured the pause button might come in handy... yes well I'm glad you understand what I'm speak about... also look up, how to speed read, there's the video where the guy talks about vocal chords and brain functions and eye messages, anyways he has a method that's actually quite effective... I practiced it and it helped me read faster in a few hours!

This is a funny video the most consistent error made is that atheism is not a religion, it is a complete lack of religious belief (predominantly due to a lack of evidence). I could also point out the false assumptions that this video makes but I only have 500 characters. I'm really not sure what the worst thing about this video is, it could be the continuous and inaccurate reference to Atheism as a religion or it might be the terrible grammar and spelling errors.

The uploader's position seems to be that in order to be an "Atheist" ((Noun) "A person who does not believe in the existence of God or Gods [Oxford English dictionary]). One has to disprove the existence of god/s. This is wrong. Since I told my family about my feelings in this, they have challenged me to show how things would "work" in the absence of a divine entity. This has forced me to begin studying a wide variety of topics I was not previously familiar with. Biology, Cosmology, Psychology, Geology, Biblical History. @aDetectiveA Belief is an entirely personal and subjective thing. If you believe in a divine power, then you should continue on with that belief. There's nothing I could or would say to dissuade you from that.
For me, atheism was the natural progression of my personal beliefs in the face of the Biblical inconsistencies I came across. But, that is by no means a "template" for other people. :-)

That is true, Atheism doesn't equal Science but then neither does Christianity. Science has crumbled the Bible into many pieces With evidence.
Atheism isn't a a structure of beliefs as you keep claiming, it's a quantifier on ones own belief in a god, the letter 'A' denoting "lack of". If Atheism is religion then so are all the other words that denote quantities.

@unobscureness your definition of atheism, yes the letter "a" means "lack of" but "theism" means "god" not "belief" and not "religion" therefore "Atheism" only means "lack of god" and not "lack of belief or religion" which shows how atheism can still be a religion, not only that but it has so many followers and "churches" - if you'd consider a laboratory dedicated to the big bang or other atheistic "science" - a church... that's why we call atheism a religion as opposed to say gravity or math...

Atheism, like all other religions, is something that is mainly pressed upon us during our childhood. Nonreligious parents have a higher chance of nonreligious offspring. (and vise versa). I'm not saying that's 100% true, but in a majority of cases, it is. Also, as with all other religions, it's based on what the individual sees as the truth. What they would like to believe.
All religions are generally the same concept, there's an omniscient being watching us, be good.

@Farrugia2011 all religions could be put in the same category of "Be good and go to heaven" ...Buddhism is the same thing, "Be good" but Buddhism never speaks of a specific god.. the religion of Atheism I don't think fit's into that category since it's a special religion where the individual's own morals guide them through life...and Christianity is also an exception because you HAVE to believe in the God of the Bible... where as in Islam you don't need to worship Alla to go to heaven...

@Morajoc12 Just remember when people are angry usually they say or do things that they really don't mean... So many friendships end because of anger, I try not to get angry at anything besides windows XP and cheap Call of Duty noobs... lol You have a good heart for caring about that person and I hope you succeed in helping him. Atheism, is the absence of a belief in god. STICK TO FACTS? you're on the polar opposite side of it. the reason it is illogical is because the question you asked, no the question you stole, means "what is the proof that not believing in god is accurate and correct" and the main problem is, it is not the same thing as asking "can you prove god isn't real" and do you see that it doesn't make sense to ask if an absence of belief is accurate? or that asking if a claim isn't accurate would make more sense?

@TheYouSphere sorry, when I was making this video I was speed reading... plus I figured the pause button might come in handy... yes well I'm glad you understand what I'm speak about... also look up, how to speed read, there's the video where the guy talks about vocal chords and brain functions and eye messages, anyways he has a method that's actually quite effective... I practiced it and it helped me read faster in a few hours!

The word of God.. if a king makes a new decree there are three people, the ones who hate it, the ones who love it, and the ones who just don't care...
