  • why is a white bitch announcing a classic hip hop video and why the fuck is there is a website address on this visual masterpiece, fuck the bullshit!

  • PYT sample flip is legendary. To take anything from Thriller and not make it obvious is a clear win..but when you fuckin make this great beat? Legendary.

  • Close. It's Michael Jackson: Human Nature

  • @OFDBBH Not PYT, Its Human Nature.

im tellin ya this track is sick as hell, great comments you guys are leaving as well

thanks for the appreciation, i guess its true real recognize real, it aint hard to tell!!

  • Make no mistake. The lyrics of Nas are the ONLY rap lyrics worth prolonged future study for other reasons than narrow Hip-Hop interest and basic slang history. His works tower over all other late 20th century rap as Shakespeare's did his contemporaries - and will be seen as such by future generations.

In short: He is the best.

  • @boosra Word up.

  • @boosra ditto

  • @boosra, i love what u wrote.. but i would add a few other names to that. ;--)

  • all hip hop fans check out JRC - MASTERPIECE!

I posted it as a video response, let me know what you think

  • nas is the goat.. whoever says he is overrated is stupid and cant comprehend his older work...ps eat a dick hoe

  • great lyrisist, type in Stevie Park- Pure Imagination.... he a young rapper doin the same

  • the backing instumental is human nature by michael jackson

  • Elzhi actually did this justice...

  • @7kMoJo Elzhi bodied this track.

  • @Boonader93

Nas sucks? then every rapper must suck youre probly a prejudice white guy

  • @dipsetcashmoney1 No, Nas does suck. He's not the greatest thing to happen to hip-hop so therefore not every rapper must suck. He's overrated. Dre is better than this fool, sames goes for G Rap & Biggie.

  • lolol since when was nas overrated?

  • @XtonyXgray Google 'Nas is overrated' - many people regard him as overrated. Don't get me wrong, Illmatic is a classic album, however, the rest of his collection is weak & stale. I don't see how he deserves to be ranked a top-10 rapper of all time with one album, when Big L, who only has one classic album (not his fault) barely gets recognition in those lists because he only ''has one (classic) album''.

  • @KryptonDaVillain Nas is overrated? The rest of his collection is weak? Lost Tapes,Gods Son,It Was Written,I Am,Stillmatic,Distant Relatives,Untitled. Do ya'll listen to music or just skim through it-Jay

  • @HipHop226 exactly. Sure nothing else beats illmatic but people's stupid expectations ruin his other great albums.

  • @HipHop226 Just ignore him. He's too young to understand Nas and other advanced lyricists. Type in "Top 10 Hip Hop Albums of the '90s." He's the same motherfucker that said "lyrics don't mean shit" and had the audacity to say that Canibus was garbage.

  • @nickelodeon8911 Age is nothing but a number. He's not saying nothing special that's why I'm able to highlight the fraud he is. Just because I go against your view doesn't mean I'm a "motherfucker". You're getting to emotional over this man, seriously, I'd expect you to commit homicide if somebody ever says anything critical about Illmatic. I've heard far more advanced lyricists than Nas.

  • @KryptonDaVillain Like I said, I'm not arguing with an asshole still in high school. You're the same guy that told me "lyrics don't mean shit" back in the "Top 10 Hip Hop Albums of the '90s" video. So nobody, including myself, is taking you seriously. Peace out, contradictory motherfucker!

  • @nickelodeon8911 DJ Shadow's 'Entroducing' is regarded as one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time & is one of, if not the only album that critics and fans of genres regard highly when talking about hip-hop. Same goes for Donuts, same goes for Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth's album which are usually regarded highly for it's stellar production, not it's raps. Lyrics don't mean shit. Music doesn't need words - and hip-hop is music. We don't have to enter a debate, because it's over.

  • @KryptonDaVillain Contradictions, contradictions.

  • @nickelodeon8911 I never fell back on my words about lyrics don't mean shit, I proved it as well. Now you can hop off my sacks, because if lyrics were as valuable as you say then Canibus' debut wouldn't have received as much criticism as it did now would it?

  • @KryptonDaVillain Whatever. You're full of shit. First you over here telling me that Nas' esoteric lyrics make no sense just because you're too damn nescient and perplexed to understand and actually decipher, now you're over here giving me the same "lyrics don't mean shit" bullshit you gave me in that other video. Just relinquish, kid. Because you're contradicting yourself over and over and I'm taking you even less and less seriously, as well as everyone else on this page. Later!

  • @nickelodeon8911 Nice paragraph. Peace.

  • @nickelodeon8911 sweet. :)

  • @nickelodeon8911 ether that motherfucker hahahaha

  • @KryptonDaVillain hop off my sacks? i like that onem ight have to use it myself from time to time

as for canibus' debut album he wasn't really commercially viable as nas at the same time as lyrical content canibus was boring

  • @KryptonDaVillain I personally don't think he's overrated. I'm not into his other albums, other than this one, it was written and stillmatic but not everyone can release banger after banger. He definitely earned his title in hip hop history in my opinion. But hey, everyone has opinions and they aint all the same.

  • @KryptonDaVillain Dre has most of his songs ghostwritten for him fool, so don't be coming on a Nas vid saying that Dre is better. Better producer obviously yes, but rapper, far from it.

  • @hammerman2006 I'm talking about 3 stacks nigga.

  • one of my favorite nas songs

  • 0:15 to skip the dirty bitch .

  • @hectorgv thanks bruh

  • @hectorgv you are a champ.

  • @hectorgv thankz

  • The Polish love nas good stuff nice one people

  • 1985 KOO G RAP> 1992NAS>2012 AKEEM AKEEM-HEY YOUNG WORLD

    YOU NEED TO LISTEN NOW

  • wicked. as. fuck.

  • Best Beat ever

  • beest

  • 108 DISRESPECTFUL CLOWNS DISLIKED THIS .

  • money and women are goods of the world, important yes, but the end all be all, no. i remember smoking blunts and listening to wu ,nas, black moon, jeru, you name it, ugk, and having my mind blown wide the fuck open (church). their music was inspiring and soulful. niggaz used to sample good records and freak the samples, not just play 4 bars of some other niggaz song and put a kick and snare on it. this crap all over the radio now is mind numbing , uninspiring garbage.

  • the young heads today dont have no church. we knew christianity was garbage, islam had some answers but not all. so we made our own science, our own church, our own temple. I dont care what no nigga say, if a nigga aint got no science, no church , no temple , which complements his true self , he aint gon be nothing but a slave and bitch for these record companies, period. all these new niggaz give a fuck about is money and bitches.

  • im 35......this is some shit made by a nigga in my generation. in my opinion, and a milion other niggaz, 'illmatic' is the best hip hop record ever! what some folks in the younger generation fail to realize is that this raw hip hop that came out of the first half of the 90's (the best years of hip hop) was a product of the 5 percenters. If you dont know about the 5 percenters, google it. Our generation was on that shit. esoteric, intellectual, spiritual, biological science. It was our church.

  • that boy Nas snapped on this

  • 107 people are eaters

  • this tune used to kill my speakers lol....f*cking classic

  • good times....

  • Nas is the Illest ever on the mic, it ain't hard to tell.

  • to the 107 dislikes get urself a gun and shoot urself

  • Let me put the comment out that putosozhinho1 was trying to get at

Lil Wang+Fat ross+Fake+Soulja Bitch+Lil kim wannabe bitch(niki)+ the game itself now days= The shitiest, bitch made artist known!

Nas+70's,80's, and the golden 90's= d(0_0)b Real shit!

  • @blackpowerfreak YOU SOUND FUCKING RETARDED THE GAME WAS A LEGEND IN THE 90's HIM and 50 cent SO nigga stfu and get your facts straight

  • @XBlitzSnipingX Wow you fuckind idiot, not the rapper, the industry you fucking retarded piece of shit. I said "itself" not himself you moron! Get your facts straight bitch!

  • @XBlitzSnipingX game and 50 legends in the 90s? you must be outta yo mind or a fagg... dont come up wit shit like this under a real classic

  • @XBlitzSnipingX Game wasn't even out of his teens in the '90s. No one has heard of him 'til 2006, when he released The Documentary. And 50 Cent is a below average rapper who was only famous for getting shot "9" times. So follow your own advice and get YOUR fucking facts straight.

  • @nickelodeon8911 Actually, game was 20 in 1999. People knew of him as early as 2003. Singles dropped 2004 & album 2005. 50 did NOT become famous off being shot. He became popular off his first solo album that got dropped from the label & all of his mixtapes before he signed with Shady. He got famous off dropping a classic album & his feuds with Ja. Him being shot only solidified what he was saying in his music.

But anyway, this is the greatest Nas song ever IMO.

  • @MoneyDotMarco idk about that last part...i think One Love is his craziest. The lyrics, the flow, the beat and his storytelling all came together the best in One Love. My personal preference, tho this song is crazy aswell.

  • @MoneyDotMarco You right. And I meant to say that 2005 was the year Game dropped The Documentary, not 2006.

  • @blackpowerfreak thank you bro

  • *video starting.

    "show the boobs!" lolol.

  • FOR 107 PEOPLE! IT IS HARD TO TELL!!

  • I recommend a video on youtube: KAYOS - IN ON IT video

  • THANK YOU BASEDGOD!!

  • lil wayne + rick ross+ birdman= NAS

  • @putosozhinho1 Never, ever, ever say something like that again. Nas is 500x better than those clowns

  • @putosozhinho1 thats an improper equation the whole current rap game doesnt even equal to Nas stature

  • @putosozhinho1 I dont understand what youre trying to get at? that those 3 equal nas??? because all those 3 together aint even close....

  • west sideeeeeee

  • HipHop is like wine, the older - the better

  • Man you're da shit.!Real talk.!Big up to Nas.

  • @jussef28 yey this is old school shit haha look at the cell phone n the clothes. a rappper would never rap like this

  • @jussef28 have you ever hear the music of Elzhi ?, there is good music you just have to look for it.

  • @jussef28 Yeah, hiphop has gone through a sad transformation.

  • @jussef28 for me the realest are tupac , Gangstarr , Cormega , DMX

  • @jussef28 how can you not kno illmatic if you listen to hip hop shame on you

  • @StreetballAttitude Believe it or not, Nas is not that popular in spanish-speaking countries, just because people dont understand his lyrics, but now that I have learned english I can listen to all of his work, is real poetry for sure

  • @jussef28 aight but dont listen to his new shit keep it old

  • @StreetballAttitude Dude who cares when the music came out. That's generalizing that ALL music today is worse than music back then. Not always true. Obsessing about irrelevant shit

  • @ahmad312 i just said that nas new shit is wack cuz its commercialized like most of the music nowadays just because it is like that dont come up to me wit that shit...

  • @jussef28 NAS the G.O.A.T. but if u wanna hear quality music NOW, the best american rapper alive and my current fav is hopsin. He dope as fuck and real as illmatic.

  • @MrGOOZ3 you must of never heard of A$AP Rocky ??? or dizzy wright?? or even kendrick lamar?? hopsin suck ass

  • @jermainejb23 smfh... how could i know hopsin and not dizzy wright? i've probably listened to dizzy waaaay before u have anyway lol that's like telling a lil wayne fan he doesnt know drake, and kendrick lamar turning mainstream this year so who doesnt know him and of course i heard asap rocky. how the fuck does hopsin suck ass? thats the question

  • @jussef28 1990-1996....the best hip hop era

  • We feelin' this like brail! My first love! Still my ish!!!

  • WHATS WRONG WITH MUSIC NOWA DAYS WHY IS IT NO LONGER LIKE THIS ? .- RIP HIP-HOP !
