I passed next to it today... I live in Aylmer but near the plateau so I never really go near the church. The one I was baptised and I did my first communion in... All the memories about the sunday mornings I went with my grand parents ... All the ceremonies. Mom got married there.. I was planning to. IT HURTS

This church was 140 years old. A lot of these old Québec churches have really beautiful interiors. But a lot of them r half empty now, but they r an important part of the architectural history of the province. Too bad to see it go like this.

I agree.. Didn't it happen at 3 in the morning.. I remmember going by at 9 in the morning and seeing it burnt done...But there re-building it now..and there keeping the outside and hoping to re-use it.. The Future is always bright.
