  • Brain damage! u all have it!

this is shit. like watching ignorants trying to make sense of the world by playing with crayons.

    stupid people examining stupid people.

  • @bent540 One could expect such comment from someone who spends time trolling :)

    Cheers Bent540

  • I just had an exam today in which we studied this kind of aphasic people. Wow! They don't get a word of what they listen but they get every specific detail of the attached expressions!! Wowwwwwww!! I want to watch this film

  • It was a brilliant book but I don't understand how it could be adapted into a film, there are too many case studies which could not really connect in a film to form a narrative/plot.

  • Amazing Book!!

  • I've yet to see the movie or the play, but I've recently begun reading the book and I'm enjoying it a great deal. I do recommend it! :)

  • that is my favorite book! i wanna be a neurologist when i grow up :D

  • Amazing book. I first read it when I was 16 and loved it even then. Highly recommend it to anyone.

  • I've almost finished this book, it's amazing!

  • I am dying to read this book, i read a small passage and it looks VERY VERY interesting.

  • That was a GREAT book.

  • sad book, marvellous opera.

  • It certainly is a very interesting book. Sacks has written lots of interesting books. TMWMHWFAH is probably a good introduction to his work because it is lots of short episodes.

What language(s) is the play in?

  • I've seen the whole opera in a wonderful, very modern version in Sao Paulo, Brazil. It's amazing how such an interesting opera was produced from Dr. Sachs' book. There are no murders, no love scenes... just a patient (a classical singer) with a strange brain condition, his wife and the doctor. And stunning music. Don't miss it if you have a chance to see it.

  • I *love* the book! It made me consider neuroscience as a possible major. What is this trailer for? The play?

  • does anybody know if there's also a movie about this "man who mistook his wife for a hat"?

  • no there isn't but there is a play written by peter brook. its really good and quite unlike anything else. its pretty much the patients displayed to us like that of Ollie Sacks' book, with a few alterations here and there. u'll prob like it :)

  • There is:
