Christians turning to orthodox judaism is a paltry abberation. On the other hand, ther have always been both practicing and non practicing jews who have embraced Christ, the only son of the living God ( sorry, he has One) as thier MEssiah. Apart from these evil, sinful persecutions and so called forced conversions, many thru history have accepted Him willingly, w/ joy. the Jewish Messiah and the Messiah for the whole world.

I am a former christian methodist from Georgia, and I must say after studying the history of Judaism and Christianity, I am sympathetic to the Jews, b/c I think Christians hijacked the Judaism religion and perverted it to their own more palatable version. i am now an agnostic. Frankly, I think both are myths, but i do feel for the Jews.

My wife and I are currently converting to Judaism from a progressive Christian denomination. It was that progressiveness that helped us reframe Jesus as a Jew. Due to this we were able to choose Judaism. Unfortunately, Orthodox Jewry is mired down in politics; we have chosen Reform Judaism, a denomination that Orthodox Judaism will not recognize. I will stand by you as a fellow Jew. Would you do the same for me? Would Hitler have differentiated between me and you? This is sad (cont.)

@NuttyHiker And I shouldn't need to tell you to look out for fundamentalist Christians who may "infiltrate" Judaism to convert Jews. "Messianic Jews" especially.

If a Jew believes in the Torah, which he should, then it is impossible to believe in anything else. And Christianity is DEFINITELY SOMETHING ELSE. Do you notice that Christian HATE JEWS? Do you notice that Christians know nothing of the Jewish religion? Christians think that the law is done away with. That means that there is no more sin. No Sin means no reward for righteousness. No reward for righteousness means no heaven and no hell.

Yeshua did not lead anyone astray...that is your talmudic perception...Yeshua is moshiach shel Israel, and I am Sephardic Jew who believes in Yeshua cause He transformed my life 20 years ago. Talmudic Judaism has NOTHING to do with the REAL TORAH and Talmudic Judaism is anti Torah religion which has NO SALVATION. Next, WELL informed Christians do not convert to talmudic judaism, especially if they realize that Yeshua was a Jew and was followed by JEWS. Karaites do not believe n talmudism.
