Every human being in this world should have the right to life because it is immoral to kill an unborn fetus. But if you want a healthy life then you have to earn it or be lucky enough to be born into a rich family.
So in short, we Repubs support the right to life (just not a healthy life).
I was uninsured for years. Now I am permanently disabled. I am glad I worked long enough to get ssdi instead of ssi. I would rather work, pay taxes and have a life than live in poverty for the rest of my life. I just was not so lucky. How many Americans will join me before we have universal healthcare?
I've seen myself one person decline coverage/benefits at work, supervisor carefully explained to them and reiterated "are you sure?". It was on the edge of a benefits meeting at work I think.
the whole facade of this video is that there are still LOTS of people who are uninsured INVOLUNTARILY.
