This song still brings tears to my eyes since it was sung at our wedding. Unfortunately, I lost her to cancer in 2003 I sang this to her just shortly before she passed away. Thanks for posting this song. It takes me back to the Fall and Winter of 1959 and 60 with a special girl. One of the best love songs ever. Unfortunately that special person broke up with me.

Johnny Mathis was "in Concet" in Hong Kong at Lee Garden. I spent HK$200 to see him there. The HK$200 at that time equal to $300 of today's money. He was just all around perfect and even at today when I think about it and it is still every bit of very enjoyable.

Hey folks, this song means a lot to me, I've enjoyed it all my life & even used it as a dedication song to my wife. We're no longer together but I think of her often & we're still good friends. Poets run out of rhyme, that's impossible because then we wouldn't have this special day that we celebrate each year called Valentines Day. So if you do get to hear this song on that day or any other day please grab your significant other and never let her or him go, at least until the Twelfth of Never!

This was the very first song I ever heard Johnny Mathis sing ~ it was on the Flip Wilson show in the early 70's ?? and I fell in love with Johnny right there and then. I was 12 years old. He came to Canada on tour and I nagged my mother until she agreed to take me and even though it was almost 40 years ago, I will never, ever forget it. This beautiful man's voice just makes me crumble when I hear him.

This song still brings tears to my eyes since it was sung at our wedding. Unfortunately, I lost her to cancer in 2003 I sang this to her just shortly before she passed away. Ironically, the day she passed away was April 12th. What a beautiful song, what a beautiful memory, what a beautiful person in my life.

Reminds of innocent summers almost ages ago aglow with amber lanterns. Slow dancing in the open air near the lake. The lingering scent of "Sea and Ski" sunburn preventive.
Now, much time has passed for me and gravity has subjected me to its cruel depravity.
I remember well those times of innocents with much more than nostalgia but with a genuine sense of loss.
