  • oh yes is green friend

  • just buy a battery?

  • you fuck

  • lol i like that idea but i aint taking it i am working on my own right now..

  • LOL just imagine the sun goes behind the cloud and then ur psp switches off annd ur just about to save ur game after ur hard work LOL

  • you should just put a female usb connection onto the solar pannels, letting any device charge via usb.

  • AWESOME!!

    i will try that

  • little risky, but it works

  • wow jus get a wall charger

  • No because if you do it this way you charge your psp for free but if you use a wall charger you have to pay for the elctricity bills so this is a very helpful video

  • why dont we hook up all the world`s plug sockets to a giant solar powered generator

  • the sun doesn't shine in every country every day

  • So, use a battery bank

  • 1. not a generator

    2. ppl do, do that

    3. the world wont because the gov makes too much on oil

  • Comment removed

  • awesome

  • will this overheat the psp or the battery

  • I think its protected

  • It may if the voltages get to high, Ie: too much lite

  • true true on that

  • im sure there is a transitor to stop there being too much voltage going through

  • y does it need batteries when it is soar powered

  • Imagine what would happen if it would be a rainy day.

  • nice job keep up the good work.

  • it would kill the psp because it needs like 9 volts not 14

  • then attach a regulator

  • thats nice to take on a trip like camping

  • thans cool men

  • lol took you three tries to put it in

  • were u going on a camping trip?

  • DO U THInk so ..use a little of common sense

  • of course i didn't think he was...i meant it to be funny. i should have added lol or something to it.

  • good to have though when o a camping trip or power outage

  • if you could fit all that into a compact case, i'd buy it

  • great... now find a way to make the adapter smaller=)

  • actually it does exist i just cba to put a video of it up yet. it uses the psp slims video out to go to a 7" lcd screen attached to a ps2 contoll shapped grip that the psp clips to. the amplfier is from a portable speaker system and i put the amp circuit inside the screen as it didnt have an amp cus i removed the screen from a portable dvd player

  • thats a rough idea.... I placed a solar panel on the back of my PSP (on the UMD door) and wired it INTO the battery (i used a voltmeter to measure 3V-5V ish and placed a resistor in from the USB port AND the Solar panel to teh battery (USB and SOLAR in pare. to the battery) and placed a DIODE right into the batterys "adapyer charging" area.... ITS PORTABLE 24/7 when your not using it lay it face down... ^_^

    SMALL AND VERSITILE

  • one day, we can make teh whole psp case a solar panel, thatd be cool. my uncle did say he wanted to create his own solar panel business.. he does work at nasa... maybe i can ask him.

  • Could you maybe mount it on top of the psp? as in use the two screw holes attach it so you could still use the triggers and usb port? then you could play AND charge at the same time, without having to lay it face down. it might look a bit ugly but would it work?

  • i was thinking of making a psp case and just mount the pannels onto the case and plug in the psp

  • you can send me that charger my dog chewed up my charger that it came with =(

  • do u have cfw just asking :)

  • Crazy

  • hey i dont understand how u charge the battery with battery pack... can u make a tut how to connect the wiring or solder or something...

thanks...this vid has inspired me to buy 4.5v solar panels and try this mod...which i think is pretty cool=)

  • Or just plug in that cut off USB psp charger into the solar panel. Bypassing the batteries

  • you cant too much voltage

  • Well no being awkward but you should try using less panels and do it that way. But I suppose with the battries it is just the same. The power is still getting to the PSP at the same rate lol

  • you could do this or just buy a little solar charger off of the internet for £10+ but remember to check that it's psp compatible because some aren't!

  • best song ever

  • since i got my psp i wanted to do about the same idea, i actually wanted to make a solar pad, who you could attach to the screwholes, with a little diode in it, to contol the power, and put int without a other switch in it, youknow so its wieldable, but very nicely made
