@ibradweezzy NO personally they need ALOT of work to keep, also very prone to skin disease much easier than a hard shelled turtle , if you wanna start out with somthing hardy, and dont want your average red eared slider, try a mud turtle or a map turtle, they stay relativly small and are pretty hardy and some are very beautiful and have great personalities
