Finally getting out of my boring ass suburban town in NJ, and moving to San Diego! I had enough of living in this boring small town somewhere between plain uninteresting forest, and mountain, and moving to beaches, palm trees, cool ass deserts, and hundreds of attractions. In NJ the only thing to do is go to the beach, wich any NJ citizen has been to 100 times, or to NYC, wich is just a filthy plain city wich any NJ citisen has also been to 100 times.

I am currently living in San Diego and going to school here. i am originally from beautiful northern California but i am having serious thoughts about perhaps moving here after finishing school and going back home for about 1 year or so. but i will definitely start making plans for my relocation to san diego because i have fallen in love with this city. its an amazing place that i recommend to anyone from around the world to come visit. you will probably not want to go back home afterwards.

Nice images with good overview of almost all areas of the National Monument areas. Good explanatory titles and soothing music. Well Done. And it is great that you kept it to 3 minutes. I just want to say that, this video reminds me of my father, who loved San Diego very much. He died in the collapse of one of the twin towers in the 9/11 incident. Miss you Dad, I'll never forget. This is such a beautiful city and a very good song. Thank you for making it.

In July, the Comic-Con will be in town (I'll be there) - the Convention center in downtown will be bursting at the seams with fans. The world famous San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Balboa Park, Old Town and Seaport Village are among the many attractions this famous city has to offer... enjoy! Hopefully by that time the swine flu will have been contained.

Visited again yesterday

there are so many places there where you can find peace just watching sailboats go by, or listen to the ocean waves crashing against the rocks while the breeze and tranquility hypnotize your senses - I highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of visiting San Diego... and bring your camera for a fantastic photo opportunity!

I revisited recently and crossed paths with a beautiful male California quail who gave away his position while calling out "Chi-ca-go" to his mate atop a bush. He then flew to the ground and waddled away from me before flying off to his partner - as I slowly approached in disbelief. Gorgeous birds.

Being there in person is, of course, no comparison to any of these pictures. It is a very popular tourist attraction - but not crowded. And if you're up for a hike, there's a trail that takes you on a descent of the eastern side of lighthouse where various animal species call this home.

On the western side, you'll see the tidepools and may catch some migratory whales billowing from a distance. To access tidepools you need to drive there (recommended).
