You have to check with your hosting providers. If you ask them for FTP connection info, they should know what you're talking about. Some providers might require you to enter something in the "Port" box, or some other slightly different method. They might also have a different website URL than your website's URL, in which case you'd want to change the url you enter in the site manager.
when you enter your username and password, which username and password are you talking about?? your Mysql user name and password, or your host server? no buddy mentions which of these you are using,,,
